I find myself getting crazy reflective as the year draws to a close. Maybe because I’m just that deep. Read the full post.

Seems you forgot Dollhouse completely and the incredible performances turned in this season by Enver Gjokaj (Victor), Dichen Lachman (Sierra/Priya) and Fran Kranz (Topher) as well as the rest of the cast. Those three were just the standouts to me.

    • bdoll

i would give enver gjokaj best new comer or even a best supporting. i had never seen him in anything and he is an INCREDIBLE actor. i hope he finds a new gig.

As much as I loved the last half of the season of Mad Men, LOST was the best series on television and the entire 5th season was amazing. Michael Emerson should also be best supporting actor. What do you have against LOST Michael?

  • V

nothing for John Noble? Fringe is grossly underrated and definitely in need of some love, ASAP.

    • amj

Agreed, I put him and the show in my list below….

    • RedViking4

I agree, John Noble should at least have been in your runner up for best actor in drama. I’m sure Mr Ausiello didn’t put him because he didn’t watch. Science-fiction has always been put aside by critics, it’s a shame.

John Lithgow should have had a nod in your best supporting actor in drama too. I’m sure Mr Ausiello didn’t put him because he didn’t watch.

Mr Ausiello, do you watch good TV ?

“Sons of Anarchy” was better than boring same old “Mad Men” and the truly excellent “True Blood”. January Jones couldn’t act her way out of a paper bag; her blank face isn’t an acting choice it is just that is all she has is a pretty face – Maggie Siff “Sons” and Rosemary DeWitt “United States of Tara” both acted her under the table in “Mad”‘s first season leaving the audience wonder why they chose the boring vacant blonde as the wife of the lead. And Katey Sagal was the best performance by a lead actress all year, period. The strongest female role written on television this year. Don’t ever call “Gemma Teller-Morrow” a supporting character.

      Bitter much?

  • Cambria

Kudos for the love for Katy Segal. Sons of Anarchy is an amazing show and her character is awesome.

  • Cambria

*can’t spell/type sorry. Katey Sagal. lol.

  • Laurel

NO WAY Dexter should of been left out !
Dexter was better than Mad Men this year. I feel Mad Men was a bit ” Off ” until the end of the Season .
However Dexter & True Blood were fantastic throughout.

Sorry Michael Hall should be in the Best Actor catagory this year.
    I’m OVER Hugh Laurie.

    • alice Chang

did you even watch his performance in HOUSE premiere? or is just “over” because he got nominated like every year(and still hasn’t won!). I watch both shows, and as much as i love MCH, Hugh’s way overdue.

  • Joe

    DEXTER?!

  • karenbelgrad

    No love for NPH? Sniffle…

  • Riz

Kind of surprised you left off Connie Britton for best actress. She is the best ever! LOVE HER.

  • Sandra

Where is Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins, who are among the most talented actors on tv!

  • pheo

Is Robert Sean Leonard EVER going to get recognized for his work on House?

    • Rob

      Robert Sean Leonard is overrated.

  • Sharlin

    Best Drama: LOST. Obviously.

  • Jeff

    True blood is my favorite
