First Look: My 2010 resolutions!

I’m probably setting myself up for failure by doing this, but here’s an exclusive first look at all the stuff I absolutely must accomplish in the next 12 months.

* Give United States of Tara another try. Ditto It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
* Drink less water and more diet cola.
* Get soap-writing God Patrick Mulcahey to pen a Santa Barbara reunion script purely for my enjoyment.
* Convince Connie Britton to enter herself in the far-less-cluttered lead actress category at the Emmys.
* Finally plan that trip to Belgium (for obvious reasons).
* Spearhead a search party to track down my missing Bay Area buddies.
* Spend more time with my family. Or better yet, allow my family to spend more time with me.
* Catch up on Sons of Anarchy.
* Read less, Tweet more.
* Save Fringe.
* Find out the real reason this happened.
* Host a monthly game night featuring Dirty Uno, Phase 10, Monopoly, and 221B Baker Street in regular rotation.
* Use my immeasurable clout to pressure NBC into renewing Chuck for another season. Ditto ABC and Ugly Betty.
* Organize a second annual Aushole gathering at Comic-Con, but throw in this fun little twist: Attendees must bring me presents!
* Conduct a no-holds-barred, sit-down interview with Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein.
* Become more selfish and less selfless with my time and money. Wait, did I get that backwards? Nope, that’s right.
* Report the big [asterisk quiz goes here] scoop that’s been burning a hole in my pocket since last week.

I’m sure I’m forgetting a few things, so don’t be surprised if this list grows throughout the holiday weekend. In the meantime, what’s on your ’10 to-do list? Remember, resolutions aren’t official until you post ‘em in the comments section of a TV-centric blog. I kid you not. Look it up.

    .
OR if they are the winning Powerball numbers and the reveale is eclusive to me! :)

    • gimplygump ☺

sorry for the typos … thought I caught them all.

    • Ly

And this time, don’t make us wait so long for new Chuck episodes. Though a renewal at all would be good too.

  • Boadicea

Oh Michael… you are so naughty.

How dare you leave us hanging with something about a scoop burning a whole in your pocket!?!

    * Find out the real reason this happened.
    * Conduct a no-holds-barred, sit-down interview with Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein.

Both/Either of these would be spectacular :)

    • Jade

      • ceva

Pls make it your 1st New Year’s resolution to be achieved! Huddyesque!

    • Cheery

Definitely! And the talk better get dirty.

I need to know when we can expect to see a little slap and tickle between House and Cuddy :D

    • Liz

  • HRFE

    Nothing about LOST? Tut-tut
Also something about being more accessible to fans. I live in CT- I can’t go to Comi Con but I CAN bring presents!!!

  • Nancy

Less Hugh Laurie, more Jesse Spencer. Thank you and goodnight.

    • norhu

What? I love Jesse Spencer. I think he is one of the best TV actors. But less Hugh? They are not in the same league.

      • Erin

Agreed. Less Hugh is not needed, it’s not like he’s out there mediawise. Plus he’s definitely deserving of more love. Though I don’t agree that he’s outside of Jesse’s league and as such very much agree with Nancy that more Jesse is needed. He’s always made the show for me (alongside Hugh & RSL). That guy is so underrated, it’s great he’s finally receiving some decent screentime & storylines.

    • chris

      More JS…YES!
      Less HL…NO!

  • kelsteve

A Veronica Mars Movie! That’s my only resolution! How could you forget Michael!

    • Junkie1

How about VMars & Arrested Development movies!? Also, I’m up for Dirty Uno. Suck it, 2009.

      • castiella

        “Suck it, 2009.”

        This. :-)

      • Kate

I agree!!! Arrested Development and Veronica Mars are my two all-time favorite shows!!!!

      • info

Arrested Development movie is in the works for 2011.

  • Tyson

I agree about renewing Chuck for another season!

How about some awesome Smallville scoop as well?

  • adreanne

Conduct a no-holds-barred, sit-down interview with Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein. Yes this will be Great.!

  • Bruna

    SAVE FRINGE! YES!

  • cath

A no-holds-barred Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein interview! We’d love you forever if you’re able to do this!

    • april-ann

Are these resolutions or a wish list? Hate to burst your bubble, but that would never happen. They could sit down for an interview, but “no-holds-barred”? I would assume they value their jobs and paychecks too much to say anything beyond what they are told to say.

      • norhu

what does “no-hold-barred” mean? I´m all for an interview with Hugh and Lisa together. I love them.

      • Cheery

@ norhu, it means nothing is off limits, so hopefully they can talk about naughty stuff! ;)

  • missy

“Conduct a no-holds-barred, sit-down interview with Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein.” –> YESSSSS, please.

  • Hilly

    Hugh and Lisa interview?
I soooo look forward to that :D DDDDD
    Woot Woot Woot

  • ccs

    * Conduct a no-holds-barred, sit-down interview with Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein.

YES YES YES YES! Top priority!!!
