Sources confirm to me exclusively that ABC has ordered two additional episodes of Cougar Town, bringing the comedy’s first-season total to 24.
Once again: Gooo cougars!
Earlier this fall, ABC called for extra episodes of CT‘s Wednesday-night companions, Modern Family and The Middle, so this obviously bodes well for Courteney Cox and Co.
One last time: Gooo cougars!

i love BOT too man but we have to face the facts that the shows over, i don’t think a move to Wednesday will help its chances.

seriously though i totally agree. since scrubs likely won’t get it’s back nine why not move BOT to wed at 8.30 (move the middle to 8) and give the show an actual chance to get viewers. please ABC!

I’d love Ted to stay alive. And I think – for me – Scrubs this season is by far the best. I love the new characters and feel it’s got legs left! Go Courtney… though Earl was always over the 22ep mark and was axed last season – Boo NBC!
I think that’s good news, but Avatar is the best movie ever made. History will be divided into BA (before Avatar) and AA (after Avatar). Yeah, it’s that good.
what does avatar have to do with CT?
Although crispy seems to have gone a little Samantha Delynne/Stan Beltzer on us, I hardly think it takes anything away from Cougar Town. That show is awful.
P.S. – I read CT, I don’t think “Cougar Town”. If you respect the show at all, you’ll stop immediately.

Cougar Town is a piece of crap, Courtney Cox’ face looks like it’s made of plastic (which it is). Avatar is awesome!!
Cox’s face is nothing but a plastic botox’ and the humour and storyline is likewise, feathers… Utterly crap.

It is a terrible and demeaning show and it’s sad that it has been picked up. Courtney Cox is portraying a character who thinks that having relations with a 17-year old with her own child in the house is a good thing. Amazing!

The show has actually mostly dropped the whole dating-younger-men thing, which makes the title extra unfortunate…
The mascot at the high school in their town (also where Travis goes to school) is a cougar. And I think they showed a sign at a football game on the show one time that said “Welcome to Cougar Town.” So technically, the title is still applicable. And even before the show began, the producers stated that Courteney’s character wasn’t always going to be dating younger guys.
You smell and that show is awesome.

I love CougarTown! Paired with Modern Family it is hilarious perfection. I would also like to see BOT tacked to a better lineup. I hate The Middle. I don’t get that one.
I love Cougar Town!! I didn’t want to like it but it quickly grew on me. I love Wed nights on ABC now (which is a first for me).

“Cougar Town” is OKAY… Why “Samantha Who?” was cancelled and “Scrubs” came back AGAIN — AND “Hank” got a greenlight (that show was Godawful…) is beyond me. “Samantha Who?” would have been a good addition to Wednesday nights on ABC.
The fact that her son walked in on her while she was performing an act on a 26-year old isn’t the best plotline for a show. And why does she smile all the time – worst acting ever!
The botox makes her smile like that. She can’t help it. And, yes, she is also the worst actress on TV right now along with her co-star, whoever the hell that is!
I dont’ get why they don’t just try Better off Ted on Wednesdays at 8 instead of running reruns of Modern Family! Then the lineup would be fantastic.
I hope they dont cancel Better off Ted. The Middle is just a poor mans Malcolm in the Middle, and should be bumped to another night. Modern Family = No Funny, and the new Scrubs Med School is an embarrassment, and should not have been made.
