Why won’t Leno just retire and go away? Time for Conan to build his own audience.

I don’t understand why NBC fired Leno from the Tonight Show if they still want him on the network so bad. I mean, they’re willing to push back two funny people with bad enough ratings just to accommodate Leno. I loved him on the Tonight Show, but the guy is clearly not into it anymore, the way he acts on his show makes it seem like he’s doing it just because he has to. Conan takes some getting used to but he is funny. And I love Jimmy Fallon more then anyone! Jay should realize that what he’s doing to these great entertainers is hurting them and he should step down and be the bigger man.

I think Conan should move to another network where he can unleash the crazy funny beast he is! Forget NBC cus they obviously do not know what they are doing. Jay/Conan/Jimmy deserve better than the way NBC has been treating them.

  • Damion

Disgusting that they have apparently made the decision to bump Conan. What an insult to him. I really hope no one supports this move by everyone tuning into letter man until at least 0h05. Leno should be cancelled, not moved.

The ads on this website have gotten out of control. Even if you ‘close’ them they still remain open and eventually get bigger again. Enough already

  • Jay Leno

Jay Leno is the unfunniest comedian in a talk show followed by Ellen. Conan is the funniest amongst the talk show host. Leno should just retire and enjoy his millions…he is like a bad penny, always comes back!!!

A 30-min Jay Leno Show sounds absurd. What can he do besides a monologue and a few headlines? The Bachelor, and other dumb shows, go on for hours!

  • Nick

CONAN FTW. I hope they dont screw him over

Leno had his time. It’s time to move on–let the younger generation take over.

Leno needs to discover that there are other things in life besides telling excruciatingly cheesy jokes and cars.

Go on and live Jay Leno! Go and live your life! Go bungee jumping!

Booo. Leno is rubbish. His humor is truly “comedy for dummies”. Absolutely nothing substantial or intelligent to anything he says–which is why he is not funny. Conan and Jimmy are the best late night lineup since Johnny and Dave. NBC seriously needs new management in TV programming.

Conan told NBC – Thanks but no Thanks!. He will not accept the move to 12:05.

Jay pulls twice the viewers that Conan has. He is the only one that beats out Letterman. Put him on at 11:35, let Conan leave & offer Craig the 12:05 spot. I think he is hilarious.

They all suck. I liked Johnny Carson because he had class. These other jokers Letterman, Leno, Conan etc are classless morons. I will not watch any of them. I think they should all be on the same show together and let something worthwhile like “The Big Bang Theory” — not the goofy show that is on TV, but a discussion of the theories of Einstein, Newton, Hawking etc — This whole country is a bunch of morons being led by a bunch of morons.
