Exclusive: 'Glee' cast belts out scoop on spring return, season 2, and more!

Glee whiz! Fox’s press tour party last night was so much fun, I’m still feeling it today. (Thanks for that, guys.) Here’s a rundown of my big Glee-related red carpet gets followed by the videos themselves. (And stick around, more videos are coming!)

* Jane Lynch discussing her highly-anticipated musical debut, the return of her sister, and Sue’s upcoming “romance of sorts”

* Lea Michele on the Rachel/Puck hoopla and her new love interest

* Mark Salling on job security, his widely circulated viral Valentine to Glee, Quinn vs. Rachel, and the impending “alien invasion”

* Jessalyn Gilsig on finding redemption for Terri, the possibility of real love with Will, and getting her first song

* Chris Colfer on a long-overdue boyfriend for Kurt and the one request he has for his future leading man

* Kevin McHale on the future of Artie and Tina and why he’s scared of Ryan Murphy

What are you waiting for, Gleeks? Press play in the video player below!

Kurt deserves to get a boyfriend! Too cute!

  • Jaymii

I really dislike EW’s video player, I have so much trouble with it.

    Awesome interviews though.

    • Rally

I love their video player, it bypasses my work proxy.

      • gigi

*sigh* I wish I could play the vids at work. Stupid baracuda firewall!!

    • davey

I have ALOT of problems with it as well. It plays for a few seconds and then buffers…and then buffers…and then buffers some more. I don’t think I’ve watched a full video yet without there being somekind of situation!

    • Agreed

Ugh, the player is sooooo annoying. It’s properly messed up.
Something needs to be done about it.

    • Jen

The video isn’t even showing up for me.

      • Kristina

Me neither, even when I disable the blocks on Firefox.

    • Whivit

The video player SUCKS. I’ve been waiting for the video to load since yesterday. No joke.

  • PeterBilt The Nature Boy

Wow, you guys went 5 hours without something related to Glee. EW never ever ever reports on anything

    • pauch

this is the part where instead of just being a troll, you go to another website that might better suit your needs.

      • JMB

but apparently he has no other life or way to talk to people, judging by how often he trolls on EW. Perhaps working on his social skills would enable him to find something positive to say now and then.

  • David4

    I’d date Kurt. :)

Jessalyn Gilsig is still on the show?! I was hoping she was gone for good!

    • J3

Agreed… was hoping they’d just drop her from the show now that the ridiculous fake-preggers plot is done. Nothing against Jessalyn – good actress – but bad bad bad character.

    • michka

Stop dissing Jessalyn/Teri, I’m glad she’s still around.
A lot of women out there turn crazy by trying to prevent their (always hot) men to go “tigerwoods”. Teri is one of the characters who keep the show close to reality. And I love her crazy sister as well. They gotta stay!

    • Alan of Montreal

She was a major character on Ryan Murphy’s previous show, Nip/Tuck, so he won’t likely be taking her off the show.

  • michael

Jessalyn sounds so much different that Teri. Kinda crazy.

    • Alan of Montreal

you should see her on stage–she’s a force of nature

  • Kristina

haha, great answer Mark on Quinn vs. Rachel

    • jenn

He always brings up “Partie” in interviews. It’s kind of played out at this point.

  • Pablo

    The Video Player is insufferable!!!

  • brody

Sigh. I love these guys. What exactly is happening on Mark Salling’s shirt, though?

    • Ambient Lite

I was just squinting and wondering the same thing? Backdoor bird love, maybe? No clue.

  • Mercy

Can someone give the jist of Lea Michelle’s interview? Can’t watch til I get home from work. :0(

    • pat

He asked if she was surprised by PuckRachel she said she begged for Rachel to have a little fun, Ryan Murphy said Rachel would hook up with Puck. Lea said Rachel is more relaxed around Puck and it is a differnt side to her which she thinks fans might like.

She then went on to talk about Jon Groff coming on as her love interest in the back 9.

  • UGH

GLEE: The most overrated television show of 2009!

    • pat

      Don’t watch than.

      • Cheery

They probably don’t, just a hater.

I might’ve said the same thing last week, but then I actually watched the show and it’s AMAZING. Really gotta stop judging a book by it’s cover. Glee is not my usual fare (Criminal Minds, NCIS, Dexter, House) but I love it so much now!! :D

  • jbj

Seriously, was Mark Salling stoned during this interview? He is usually more relaxed and articulate.

    • Jen

Lol. No he isn’t. He’s usually rude and awkward. And he always looks like such an ass when he shows to nice events dressed like that.

  • Stefani

    Arggggggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!
    I hate this player!!!!!!!!

  • Karin

LMAO smart move of Mark to choose Partie! LOL

and thanks Ausiello to say both PQ AND PR! <3

  • Captain Canuck

I love these guys, but man, Mark Salling’s publicist really needs to teach him how to do an interview. He seems so nervous and he tries way too hard to be funny. Lea Michelle on the other hand. That girl has the “it” factor.

    • Nat

I kno;, of all of them, he interviewed the worst. So awkward to watch.

  • Jason

Let’s build the support for Jessalyn. The Preggers plot was sort of ridiculas but the show is in general which is good.
