It’s a showdown 24 fans would no doubt pay big bucks to see see: Jack’s two loves, Audrey and Renee, battling to the death. Winner takes Jack. But according to Annie Wersching, such a duel would quickly turn into a one-sided massacre. “Renee could definitely take Audrey,” she says, “no question.” Them’s fightin words! But as you’ll see in our video interview below (shot Monday night at Fox’s press tour bash), Wersching’s thoughts about Jack/Audrey vs. Jack/Renee are a little more complicated than that…

Funny, I never knew that Jack and Renee were in love. I guess I totally missed that storyline.
Probably while I was busy trying to remember if Tony Almeida was good or bad at any given moment.
I don’t like Renee, so maybe I’m biased, but there was no love between them last season. They wre supposed to kiss at one point but it got nixed. What he and Audrey had isn’t comparable to a couple of looks between him and Renee.
i dont like her either, it didnt look like they loved eachother last season, if anything renee hated jack because he was so “evil” she so needs to go:)
And then, of course, there are those of us who are waiting for Jack to finally realize Chloe is his girl.

Sigh. The nerdy, awkward, “cute-but-not-hot” girl never gets the hot guy. At this point I think it would be nice if they would meet up at Starbucks and just shoot the breeze.

Now I REALLY don’t like her chances in a fight against Renee.
Let’s just hope they don’t ruin Renee’s character like they ruined Audrey. Also, since when are they in love?

Loved Renee last season. It was a tough role to pull off and Wersching was fantastic (she should have got that Emmy nom over Cherry Jones). I hope they don’t screw her character up this season. I’m glad they didn’t rush any “love” between Jack and Renee.
Look, Annie Wersching got the sexy part as Jack’s luuuv interest (24′s equivalent of a ‘Bond Girl.’) Cherry Jones has the “M” part…just like Judi Dench had in the 007 movies. Cherry Jones had the actual ‘acting’— and that is why she got the Emmy Nom…and the EMMY WIN!
I’d pay Renee to beat Audrey down

I completely agree about Jack being better as the lone wolf (which is unfortunate because he deserves a woman!); however, I like Renee and Audrey.
Completely agree…enough with the various love interests. Jack should remain the lone wolf. Honestly, the only love interest Jack ever had that I thought was really interesting was Nina Myers. Of course, we all know what happened with that. But, they had real chemistry and the relationship was interesting.

Crap. I liked Renee, and hope she doesn’t become a love interest for Jack in the new season, it will ruin her. Although I would take her over Audrey, I want to see action Jack without the distraction of some whiney shrew wanting him to settle down. If they want Jack to have a personal life, let him interact with his daughter and granddaughter, or his friend Chloe.
I would cheer for Renee since she will take down Audrey so easily.

Anyhooo, is it me or Annie Wer-schwing is supaduppa cute and funny?
I like the character of Renee, but don’t care if she becomes his girlfriend or not; I just want to see them work together to save the day… again. This show is not a romance and I don’t think it should be. There is enough going on in any given 1-day season without worrying about whether Jack is getting any. I mean, really, when would he have time ?
i think they will hint at the romance but never spend much time on it…as it should be. there was chemsitry last season so its not surprising that Jack or her would try to cross that line.

Actually, I’m more a fan of Kate Warner from Season 2. She was sucked into an extreme situation when she discovered her sister was a terrorist. In spite of the fact that Jack had arrested her father and she knew her sis was going to do hard time for her role, she, like Jack, did what was good for the country rather than what was in her best interest. She had backbone and moral fiber without being weak.
