Other than the CW failing to fill up their 10 hours of primetime scheduling, I don’t think I’ve seen such a weak schedule in a long time.
Yeah, that’s an awful lineup.
I like Chuck, but that’s an odd block of tv for it to be part of on Monday too.
Oddly, I don’t want to watch these 10pm NBC shows either.
haha same
The schedule looks pretty solid, doesn’t appear NBC had to scramble at all since all of these shows have been waiting in the wings for a while. Monday actually seems stronger now without Heroes. Chuck has started out okay, Trauma will benefit from both Chuck and Law & Order.
Parenthood benefits the Biggest Loser lead-in, SVU will do well anywhere, Marriage Ref fits with comedies and Dateline wins Fridays.
Lisa Kudrow’s show been in production since last year, FNL returning late April can help Emmy visibility (right!?!).
Sorry if I missed something, but where’s Heroes? Or will the season be done by then?
Heroes ends its season pre-Olympics.
Well that’s good to know. Thank you.
Wow, NBC really does have a horrible line-up.
It would be even worse if Heroes was a part of it.
Regarding Monday’s lineup, I actually like “Heroes” more than “Trauma.”
It still doesn’t sound good to me. I’m tired of Law and Order, I’m tire of medical shows. And those comedy shows are for tweens. Give me some drama. Who done its. No sex, no gory blood. NCIS on CBS is the perfect show. Goodlooking men, a little tease and little blood and a great who done it. Also, a little comedy. And someone you love to hate. But not hate as bad a simon cowell on American Idol. He is to mean to watch.
The comedy shows are not for tweens, they are for the 18-49 year old demographic, but obviously you don’t fit into that if you like CBS shows which are geared for an older crowd of people in their fifties and sixties.
They did NOT put Parenthood on on Tuesdays. Seriously? So now I get to choose between Lost, Glee (when it comes back), and Parenthood? I think a DVR has become a necessity.
Yeah, but Parenthood isn’t on till 10:00. Both Glee and Lost are on at 9.
You probably won’t have to break out the DVR until April. LOST start in Feb. New Glee eps. won’t be back ’til April and Parenthood isn’t on until 10p. You should be good. It’s all about timing.
White Collar has also moved to Tuesday.
Im there for the Thursday comedies. Nothing else until FNL.
The only night that I will watch NBC is Thursday, just like now. None of these other shows appeal to me.
Agreed! I really love NBC’s Thursday nights, but the rest of their schedule is just a mess. NBC is in bad shape right now…
Wow. I had no idea how little I watch NBC until looking at this schedule. The only show on there that I’ve seen in the last week is Chuck and that’s only because it just started this week. Wow. The network could not exist and I wouldn’t have noticed.
Yeah, I agree with you. I stopped watching Heroes this season, and that was the last show I watched on NBC. Parenthood sounds good, so I might watch that but otherwise nothing interests me.
I live here in Vegas, so I watch all the CSI shows on CBS, of course, and love them. I’m with Andre when it comes to NBC. The ONLY show I watch is CHUCK. They really screwed the pooch with Leno in the lineup. As far as I’m concerned, they should FIRE him and keep Conan on the Tonight Show, even though I prefer Chelsea Lately and George Lopez. That schedule is the absolute WORST I’ve ever seen! NO CREATIVITY AT ALL outside of Chuck on NBC. Really, really sad. They should FIRE all the top executives and start over!
Yeah it’s not the strongest schedule, but it’s STILL refreshing as hell not to see Jay Leno’s name across the entire freakin thing.
I’ve been watching NBC for a long, long time and this lineup is pretty sad. But not as sad as depending on Jay Leno at 10pm to bring home the ratings.
The only thing I watch on NBC is Community, but I’m looking forward to seeing Parenthood.
YES they’re starting FNL earier than they had planned! Success! Although, I personally would have preferred a March start, but I guess one can not be greedy, April is a lot better than the summer
There putting Parenthood up against The Good Wife… Ah! guess Parenthood will have to go to the DVR.
Hate Law & Order on Monday night. Now I have to choose between L&O CSI Miami and Castle………UGH
And SVU against CSI NY.
Surprisingly,Law &Order is really good this season. They’ve really rejuvenated the show, with interesting cases and great acting. I especially like S. Epatha Merkerson. Her cancer subplot is really well done and doesn’t detract from the show at all. In fact, it makes it better.
I’m glad that L&O is out of that horrible Friday night time slot. Dump CSI:Miami and watch Castle/Law & Order.
