    This is AWESOME news. First Martha and now Perry. I really hope we are still getting a Season 10. Season 9 has been so amazing so far. I’m so excited about this!

    I actually spoke with Michael Rosenbaum at a comic convention in Cleveland last summer and he didnt sound at all like he wanted to return to Smallville. He said he really hated shaving his head everyday. He also seemed like a really cool guy, really good sence of humor.

    So I think it is great that we are seeing Perry White back on the show. I think it is a great way to end the season (like it says) I do like that they are tieing a lot of things together so that it can be aligned with who superman is. Like I have said the show is great and they easily can do a season 10!!!

      I’m thinking it’d be awesome to bring back Martha as a series regular for the hopefully 10th season, as well as keeping Michael McKean as well, then having a crap ton of guest stars who’ve been on the show in the past such as Eric Johnson(Whitney) John Schenider (Jonathan Kent) Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) etc. How epic wpuld that be?

      I’d like to agree with you, but I could only take the pointless mind games and the quips back and forth between Lex and Clark for so many seasons. They started to mess up Lex’s writing imo and I like it more with his presence being felt in the background, scheming something huge. Also, I absolutely love Tess. She’s my second-favorite character atm. She’s just so awesome lol

    Martha must not be a real senator.. Most senators are home every weekend to among other things raise oodles of campaign cash.. It’s getting close to the time that Martha would need to run for re-election…

    I dont like Martha and i think Clark doesnt need her now. Perry White will be a good thing! And who needs Lex Luthor when you have Major Zod to worry about? Come on. Lex and Martha wouldnt bring any news to Smallville. Im happy seeing these Season 09 new faces.
