Nooooooooooo! What is NBC smoking these days?! I was seriously psyched to have David on primetime (plus I definitely needed a David-fix after the regeneration). This is just really, REALLY frustrating for fans. I hope it gets picked up in the fall. Blah on NBC.
oh dear god!!! NBC has such tragically bad judgement!! the majority of their programming already sucks or is law & order. adding david tennant to their network would be a major coup for the network! they don’t have programming right now, so they can’t uber picky with what they put on their network.
IDIOTS. Seriously.
NBC, that is.
this is actually good news…David Tennant is too good for NBC. he’s better suited for show on cable or HBO/Showtime, with much edgier material. the premise of this show sounded “meh”.
I agree with you. Besides Rex Is Not Your Lawyer is a bit of a generic sounding show. I’d rather see him on a HBO/Showtime series.
You know, I was thinking that too but was willing to have DT regenerate NBC’s lineup would be nice. Anyway. If NBC waits too long David will go on to bigger and better things. He’s not one to sit around and waiting for something to happen, IMHO.
I really hope this gets picked up in the fall. Come on NBC…do something rigt…(for once).
Look, I don’t care how crap this show might be. I NEED A TENNANT FIX IN MY LIFE. So does the rest of the world, even if they don’t know it yet. Do something good for once NBC.
Jane Curtin and Jeffrey Tambor? How can you NOT pick up that show?!
I love David Tennant, but aside from the cast, the concept of this show didn’t appeal to me at all. Maybe NBC is holding out for a better project for him.
NBC holding out for a better project? ROTFLMAO
Zucker wouldn’t know quality if it bit him in the a**.
NOOOOO NBC MUST PICK UP REX FOR THE FALL! ITS THE ONLY REASON PPL WOULD EVEN WATCH NBC!!!!
From the people who thought it was a good idea to put Jay Leno at 10pm,five days a week, it won’t surprise me if they don’t pick up the show. David Tennant is a very talented actor; he’ll probably pick up an academy award sooner or later.
Wind blows, fire burns, rain falls, and NBC sucks.
NOOOOO! I need my David fix since Ten is gone!
How the hell is anyone supposed to read this with that damn Spartacus banner ad across the middle of the story. Nice job EW.
Typical hollywood,no respect for anyone working, you told these actors here’s work, they probaly could be working now, you tell them wait we’re not sure yet. They have bills like the rest of us,unlike you apparently. You know we the general public could just start watching our old movies, or even better just start visiting neighbor and friends. Just start the D…N show. Yor’re going to screw yourselves once again. The U.K will say no more of our actors for the U.S.A.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What do you expect from NBC? They screwed Conan & now they are screwing Tennant. Even more reason for me not to watch them. Viva Conando!!
