All I can say is that it had better NOT be Betty and Daniel. Those two are like siblings and it would be completely gross for them to end up together. I don’t give a damn how other versions of the show ended, clearly the American adaption has developed a familial relationship between these two, not a romantic one.

    • Elphie

      Amen!
People keep forgetting the original show is one thing, Ugly Betty is completely different. It’s now its own show, it doesn’t have to end up necessarily like the original. It would be gross.

    • Amy Leigh

Close friends? Yes. Siblings? No. Why is that always the argument that’s used when people don’t want a pairing to happen.

      • shaz10

its because they haven’t got an opinion of their own. They had to follow Silvio’s words instead.Newsflash , he retracted that comment.Maybe all you brother and sister lot should do the same.Daniel and Betty migt not get married but Detty is on the way.Get used to it.You probably ship Daniel and Wilhelmina. Now that is real ew!

  • Suki

oh come on…where’s your imagination…I’d go with Daniel & Willie or Ignacia & Mrs Meade

  • mm70

I think there have been several times foreshadowing Betty and Daniel ending up together. The writers could pull it off in the remaining episodes.

    • shaz10

There has been plenty of foreshadowing for Detty.I know ratings have been bad but anyone actually been watching the show before they make comments.

  • Sheryl

Betty and Daniel of course – it’s Betty’s show

  • tess

I hope it’s Betty with Daniel

  • tess

I would like Betty to marry Daniel.they really are great together; friends first…

  • leola

It won’t matter to me, I’ll be sniffling through the entire ep.

  • Paloma

Ausiello says one half is a series regular but he doesn’t say the other half isn’t also a series regular.

I would say either Betty and Daniel or Hilda and Bobby. Or perhaps Marc and Amanda because they need to for some scheme or other.

    • shaz10

I totally agree Paloma.Quite a few of us think the same.I mean who cares if Bobby and Hilda get married. The finale of the show, the focus should be on Daniel and Betty. They are the leads afterall.

  • joshken

Griffin1986, Tacky. really this is the end of Betty we are suppossed to be commenting about! no class.
anyways, Hilda & Bobby, like duah!
most of those couples arn’t even relevent anymore.
However that does not rule out the possibility of using the remaining time to introduce new characters and storylines.
    love you forever, Betty!

  • Choochoo

Damn. I was hoping it would be the sham marriage between Marc & Amanda for insurance/tax reasons that they’ve been pitching forever. lulz

  • amber

    Hilda and Bobby

  • Michael H.

Hilda and Bobby! I think they will leave Betty an independent woman (at least they SHOULD!)

  • Nellibean

I want more of Ugly Betty. I don’t want to see it go off the air. More people would watch if the time were set in place on reasonable viewing hours.

  • Darnell

I would not be surprise if Daniel sees Betty after the braces come off and her style changes and they fall in love. More Ugly Betty please.

  • James

I have a sneaky suspicion it will be Betty and Henri. Let’s not forget that in the pilot, Hilda hinted that Walter might be proposing. He didn’t obviously, but I can see the writers thinking this might make for a good book-end.

I’d rather Betty not get hitched. Nor Daniel. I’d much rather see Claire get married, honestly, but she’s been criminally underused for the last two seasons. It’ll probably be Hilda.
