Press Tour Video: 'Heroes' cast talks death, shake-ups, and a possible season 5

Categories: Ausiello TV, Heroes, Misc.

Heroes fans may be split on whether the show should continue on for another season, but there’s no such chasm among the show’s cast. “It would be a shame to end it now,” Jack Coleman told me last night at NBC’s press tour party. “I think there are more stories to tell.” Adds James Kyson Lee: “The funny thing about the [Heroes] world is that there are so many possibilities. It could be us, it could be the next generation of Heroes, maybe we’ll come back older… ” New Heroes? Come back older? What the what?! Hear that? It’s the sound of wedding bells ringing on Bones.

Executive producer Stephen Nathan confirms that two of the show’s characters will tie the knot later this season. “There will be a wedding,” he tells me. “But I can’t really say who or what the circumstances are.”

Ratings: 'The Simpsons,' 'Chuck' up despite football playoffs

Overrun from the Arizona Cardinals’ overtime victory over the Green Bay Packers Sunday night boosted Fox to its own victory and helped juice the ratings for The Simpsons‘ 20th anniversary show to 12.4 million viewers (up a whopping 43 percent from its last airing), according to early Nielsen estimates. NBC’s special two-hour season premiere of Chuck couldn’t beat ABC’s competing Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters by a long shot, but its 7.5 million viewers marked the struggling spy comedy’s highest ratings since its 3D special the day after the 2009 Super Bowl.
