    P.S., I thought Holly was boring and I hope she stays in Nashua. No disrespect to Amy Ryan, but the character felt fakey the way she was written as *so perfect* for Michael, and I didn’t find Holly episodes very funny because of it. I’ve enjoyed him with everyone he’s been paired with, even for a nanosecond, more than her.

    The great thing about The Office is that they manage to cast great supporting actors that don’t ruin the “normalcy” of the characters or the show. Amy Ryan was great because of her Oscar-caliber but didn’t break the continuity of the show’s name recognition. Other actresses that I think could pull that off are:

    Parker Posey (whose perfect comedic timing could play wonderfully off the zany humor),
    Laura Linney,
    Ashley Jensen,
    Lili Taylor,
    Kristen Schaal (though, maybe too young for Michael Scott),
    or some SNL Alums: Ana Gasteyer and Maya Rudolf (both who can square off with Michael)

    I wouldn’t mind seeing Kristen Schaal looking for an older man. Kinda like her character from last week’s Modern Family episode.

    Holly is Michael’s soulmate, but until the time is right, someone else could fill that emotional gap that Michael’s been needing. As long as the person has great chemistry w/Michael, then I’m all for it. Amy Ryan/Holly was perfect. Hopefully another great actress can be cast.

    We have to let Holly go, guys. We can do it..lol…Catherine Keener can come in as a new GF and probably in a better role…life is all about MOVING On.
