I think it’s most likelly Grey’s. There’s just too much drama on that set.

  • me, myself&1

    BURN NOTICE!!

  • Jim

Definitely Mark Harmon on NCIS. First it was Bellisario, now Shane Brennan. Harmon never liked the idea of the spinoff and I believe he is right to worry that focusing on it will endanger what has become a class act program (The original NCIS)

    • TG

And thank goodness someone is worried about the integrity of the show. The script writing has taken a hit since the conception and rush to production for LA

      • redreh

I watch NCIS LA, but I’m not sure for how much longer. At the end of the day, the charm, chemistry, and respect between the actors of NCIS orig is way more entertaining. I like the characters of NCIS LA seperately, but together… there just isn’t a spark.

  • brandon

what happened to the other blind items? Aus throws them out there but never answers them…Besides the Heroes one; nothing…Does anyone know of the “Hot Couple makes love and war” or the “Love’s biggest obstacle, the network”

    • Pamela

He sucks. You peopel are wasting your time. We will never get the answer

  • JonIt

Definitely NCIS. Mark Harmon has turned out to be such a Drama queen, but since Shane Brennan is the second show-runner on the series but created and successfully launched NCIS: LA I can imagine his focus has been split.

    • anna

Don’t see how one can consider MH to be a drama queen at all! He’s always been more of an actor’s actor in the same way that there are some who just a man’s man – which he’s probably that as well. SB has been seriously divided since he started creating OSP & all of that & NCIS has *clearly* suffered for it.

      • WotV

I agree with ana. MH does a great job on NCIS and doesn’t want it to go downhill. He’s no drama queen.

    • tejas

Hardly a drama queen. But he is far more invested in NCIS than Brennen is (and much as I love DPB – 20 hour days for weeks on end is not reasonable). Brennen’s turning the show into a soap and the quality has plummeted as a result.

      • TG

Mark is the best advocate that show could imagine (with Michael Weatherly a close second).

    • Katya

Agree with Ana, Tejas and WotV – MH has a reputation for being a real hard worker and not one to rock the boat unless it’s really necessary. He’s definitely NOT a drama queen. And SB IS stretched between two shows. ANyone can see that! Why not give NCIS its own showrunner who can concentrate on giving it the attention it deserves as number 1 scripted show on TV?

    • TG

Drama queen, are you serious? MH has been an actor advocate and one of the hardest workers on this show. I bet *he* doesn’t need color coded scripts to keep the shows apart. He is considered one of the nicest and most professional men in Hollywood for a reason–35+ years in the industry.

      • Kevin G

Here here, Mark Harmon is a gentleman in every sense of the word and not some Johnny come lately self important brat like some TV and screen stars are.

    • Sophie

Drama Queen? The last thing Mark Harmon is is a drama queen. I agree with Katya, Ana, Tejas, TG and WotV – he is one of the most decent and sensible actors there is. He puts 150% into NCIS, and the show wouldn’t be the same without him.

    • Ellen

Even with other things being uneven this season on NCIS – Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly and company have been BRINGING IT this season, and it has been saving it. The actors have been clearly putting a lot of thought into their work and are bringing nuances galore. It’s why us viewers will likely watch any one of them reading the phone book given a chance. If it is NCIS, I do believe it is likely Shane not managing the 2 shows well simultaneously. That being said I am finally getting into NCIS LA and see it is starting to gel.

If this were USA or cable, a solution might be to make each show half year, split into 2 halfseasons, keeping SB focussed. But not likely to happen on CBS.

      • tejas

The actors are the *only* reason the show’s still on. The quality of the writing and the general direction of the show has gotten so bad of late it’s amazing the cast can do *anything* with it. It’s a testament to their skill that the show is still on the air. Get rid of Shane Brennen and it might even be allowed to be excellent again.

      • redreh

Agreed Ellen, I love the NCIS cast so much. That’s why I watch it at the end of the day.

But we also have to remember, NCIS became a no. 1 show under SB’s production. That’s not going to be forgotten by CBS. If it is NCIS in this blind item (which I REALLY hope it isn’t), they’ll have to resolve it soon, and as amicably as possible.

  • jackie

what about josh schwartz? he has gossip girl and chuck, and is pitching a pilot for another network, i believe. although, i really feel like he gives his all to the shows he runs, he seems like a very likeable guy.

    • Gracee

Wouldn’t think so. Both have their own show runners in Stephanie Savage for GG and Chris Fedak on Chuck, and none of the guys on either shows seem very likely to cause conflict.

  • joolnik

    NCIS

  • Ohell

TRUE BLOOD. Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard must be butting heads and the unnamed exec has to be Alan Ball, who keeps adding characters but delaying casting at the same time.

  • Tara

It’s NCIS for sure. Shane Brennan has NCIS: LA and Mark Harmon has already spoken out against it. And this happened before with MH and DB. Add to that the fact there are SO many fan complaints about NCIS at the moment…people hating the Tiva and the Ziva focussed plotlines and poor characterisation and sensationalist soap style plotlines. This one is very easy to call. Question is – what will happen? MH already saw off DB. I wouldn’t be surprised if he saw off SB as well. Although I think SB has been doing a good job of trying to sideline his star of late and consolidate his power base.

    • anna

Yeah really – SB has done a great job of pushing Ziva & Tiva forward & virtually burying MH’s Gibbs. It’s pretty sickening & obvious as to what he’s been trying to do. Hopefully the network gets that & steps in before SB ruins the show. Tiva might be all the rage with some now but can’t see it sustaining the show for any length of time.

      • tejas

I bet we could sit down and pick out his last minute script changes with at least 75% accuracy, if not closer to 100%. Find all the clumsy, out of character moments or really stupid plot “developments” and that’ll be them. Shane Brennen needs to go.

      • TG

And couldn’t that be calculated, if you think about it. The idea of burying a problem instead of dealing with it.

      • Ells

I’m a Tiva fan I agree they can’t sustain the show. I’d prefer for the Tiva romance to be offscreen for the most part, with little hints and the like in the forefront. But it CANNOT be what the show is about. NCIS is first and foremost an incredible ENSEMBLE show and MH’s Gibbs is at the heart of it. Without MH, even if I got Tiva every ep, I wouldn’t keep watching.

    • redreh

Alright y’all, chill out! Good lord, the hate in here!

If you don’t like the show, don’t watch it! Seriously, that’s all there is to it.

And if you don’t like Tiva, that’s fine. You don’t have to. But I find it hard to buy ANYONE saying the show is getting soap opera-like. Its still concise, and it still is a Crime Drama. What has always, ALWAYS made NCIS stand out is the characters (and the actors that play them) and the character’s lives.

So yeah, no matter what, that has ALWAYS been on the table.

And I think you’re taking your TIVA hate out on the whole of the show.

I, who support Tiva, don’t personally think that there is ENOUGH Tiva, I could live with more, but I am so happy when I get the little, LITTLE bits I do. Because I can remember that THAT’s NOT what the show is about.

Gibbs is still No. 1. He will always be No. 1.

Get out of the bitter barn, yo, and play in the hay.

  • Tim

Brennan is no longer on the NCIS mothership, he is over at NCIS: LA full time, though he could still have some input.

My first thought was House after reading a previous report about Fox wanting another show from Jacobs & Attanasio.

Though it could be Grey’s, they’ve had their share of fights among cast, crew & etc.

    • tejas

Sadly, yes he is. He’s trying to run both shows and doing a crappy job of it.

  • zack

    Greys anatomy

  • elizabeth s

    My vote is NCIS.

  • Liz

Sounds like House. Hugh Laurie and TPTB did have big fights in the past, and when I think about the crappy storylines and even crappier decisions TPTB have made in the last weeks and months I wouldn’t be surprised about it.

  • Chris Ayers

Sounds like Two and A Half Men & Charlie Sheen & Chuck Lorre. Chuck’s got another hit (one with more years ahead of it thatn 2.5)

    • TriciaA

      “MEN” isn’t a 1 hour drama

  • ctina

could be House’s Katie Jacobs and Hugh Laurie..

    • anon

If it was about personal, behind the scenes stuff I might buy that one, but to the best of my knowledge Katie isn’t working on any other projects right now. I believe that her company is, but she’s always been really present on House, so I don’t think it’s her. David Shore’s working on other things right now, but he and Katie have been co-runners for awhile. The specificity of the item leads me to think that it’s not House. Definitely not Chuck or Gossip Girl. Shonda seems like the answer everyone wants it to be, but isn’t. I like the NCIS guess. All the pieces fit.

      • Kellei

CBS Shore is working on another project-The Rockford Files-remake CBS.
Katie is running the show now (it can be seen because of bad decisions and inconstancy in the quality of the episodes).
No doubt that Hugh is disagreeing with her.
Witness the return of Jen Morrison little more than 2 months after his departure and she to be directed by Hugh Laurie.

      • Dana

She and David Shore are righting a spin-off.

      • anon

@Dana: Katie and David aren’t “righting” a spin off together. Or any spin off.

@Kellei: Rockford is for NBC, not CBS. That aside, my point was that Katie and David have been corunners for a long time, so when one is not there there is no slack to be picked up. The way the item is written, your guess makes no sense since the problem would be with the absentee showrunner, not a showrunner taking that person’s place. If Hugh is mad at anybody it would be David, not Katie. If he was mad at Katie because of David’s absence, it wouldn’t fit the item at all.
