      Why? The ratings are better than last season. And NBC is hurting so badly now that the bar isn’t especially high.

        You obviously didn’t watch the episode tonight. If things don’t change like..immediately…there won’t be another season, no matter how much bad shape NBC is in.

        Unfortunately, I have heard with great authority that this is Chucks last year. NBC is doing them a ‘favor’ (the 2 hour finale) by using this as a platform for their sendoff into cancellation. You are right Billiam, the ratings are better this year, but not by much, they are still average, and below average by other networks standards. As they will sink lower once Dancing with the stars premieres. If they were such a shoe-in, like you say, NBC would have renewed it by now. But they havent, and they wont.

    Seriously, if NBC doesn’t renew Chuck, I’m done with that network. As it is, it’s the only NBC show I watch. If they cancel it, I won’t watch any of the new fall shows, either. Let Chuck live!

    Ahh, I hope Chuck finally smartens up and sticks with Sarah this time lol. That or they get attacked by ninjas before they get it on.
