But, if the idea is to joke with inteligenceBut, if the idea is to joke with inteligence, great ideas and a lot of information, like the show’s name suggest… Why to make jokes with a behavior like this? I saw this guy and I do not think in a genious, only in a little coy girl… Sorry! I do not have pacience.

I think it’s pretty crazy that grown man cannot know about their sexuality. I believe it’s greatest thing ever to enjoy them. if sheldon cannot have that , he could find himself isolated from some adult culture or sometimes from their friends. and that is just sad.

after a few seasons, to keep any show fresh, I find it is always fun to play with a character’s character…. Whether Sheldon is gay or not doesn’t matter as much as it matters whether it ever get’s revealed…. My guess is, either show goes on for several more seasons without playing with or changing characters etc (moral dilemmas or changes of heart (not about other characters or something else entirely…) Or the show goes on for much longer by staying fresh, and I think Sheldon is their ace in the hole… When the show starts going down hill, or is about to be canceled, I am sure they will show what Sheldon really is like (as a more then what he seems kind of character)…

Well, I just read that the actor that plays Sheldon is gay in real life and in a relationship. I am not anti-gay and I love Jim Parsons, but now I just see Sheldon as being gay too.

KEEP SHELDON ASEXUAL!!! I for one would drop the show altogether if he conformed in sexual relationships. His asexuality is what makes him unique. No other character has ever been like this. Sheldon only loves the Nobel Prize. And that is how the series should go. Sheldon should never get into a relationship, and in the series finale, he finally win his Nobel Prize.

    regardless of his sexualtiy..or whatever..
I do want to be his lover.

i think Sheldon should have one or two romantic episode(s), but have it not work out in the end for some reason like sheldon saying “I’m not ready for a relationship”, which still leaves the answer open on his sexuality. having one girlfriend doesn’t deem you straight, but it fulfills the craving some fans have to see sheldon in a relationship.

Actually, I think they should make Sheldon gay. Amy Farrah Fowler should out him in a social experiment involving a hot girl and a hot gay guy. She would ponder why they have been together for two seasons and he has yet to succumb to her feminine wiles, and come to the obvious conclusion. Not “outing”, really, because Sheldon himself would be oblivious to his sexual orientation, too. The writers could get all sorts of mileage out of turning Sheldon into Raj when Sheldon is around a hot guy. He would have no more luck with guys than he does with women, except for one storyline where he manages to date clone of himself (perhaps Amy’s brother?), thus driving the rest of them to the brink of insanity at having to deal with two Sheldons instead of one. Oh yeah, make him gay. This stuff writes itself.

      Uhm . No… gayness

“…Why can’t there be a third gender — male, female and Sheldon?”

Gender and sexuality are two different things. Sexuality and sexual orientation are preferences and while gender is about anatomy and which sexual organs are present.

There isnt anything wrong with the show. Of course, seeing him in a relationship would be nice, but it would also kind of ruin the show. It depends on if he gives in to the relationship or play it rough and act like she isnt there. I personally like the show with everyone in it.

    Sheldon is Vulcan.

I love Sheldon! Is Chuck Lorre Gay?
