I think Jay is great (especially the opening monologue) and a little more down to earth than some late night folks. I also think that Craig is off the wall funny. I don’t agree with the comment that Jay only appeals to “old folks” I do feel that you have to be a pompous ass to watch Dave.

Maybe Bradford Marsalis will be available again

I am sure Kevin Eubanks is better off at this point in his life being that he can now do more musical things. Jay isn’t Johnny but Johnny isn’t Jay. Jay Leno is Jay Leno – like him for being just Jay. :)

Nobody said anything about Andy Richter as a potential side-kick for Jay. And what about John Melendez, who seemed to have only 1 thing to do — hold up his coffee mug when they announced him.

as long as the traitor stuttering John doesnt come back on..what a waste he is!!…Howard was lucky to get rid of him…

    nice promo during the Superbowl…
but, how does that benefit Leno?
I now watch Letterman. Leno is out. Conan will be back in whenever he goes back on air. Advertising for your main competitor’s product…this is as stupid as NBC dropping Conan from the Tonight Show. Sure, didn’t you also see Pepsi advertising for Coke, too?

I love watching all these standup comedians. They are all funny in different ways.

      Conan never did standup.

IF THE OTHER GUY DOESN’T MAKE IT

i dont think that a human being could ever exist that is less funny than craig ferguson

  • jean

i think they should pay kevin more and keep him on the toight show with jay

Why didn’t they have a new reality show called “The Next Late Night Show Band or Host”? They could have spent an entire season picking the next host or band and letting the fans have a say in it instead of making a bunch of promises years ago only to stab everyone in the back and create a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.
