I’m staying optimistic. But so many people I know are getting all negative about s6, and now the news of Kripke having less involvement. I’m still remaining happy that its got a s6. I can’t wait!! Its like I can’t wait for S5 of Dr Who with Steven Moffat. Cos Moffat is EPIC.

People need to give it a chance. We know barely anything bout the new series. And already theres talk of abandonment…

I’m going to hang in there because I love the show. Yes, it’s scary but I have faith. I guess this is free will, right?

  • Pam

Ben Edlund would have been a better choice, especially since he’s the show’s best writer. But I’m hoping this means that Ben will receive some kind of promotion as well since Sera has been promoted, and she definitely needs someone like Ben to keep her balanced out.

But if Kripke is still going to be in a hands-on position, that’s hopeful.

It’s sad to see Eric stepping down as showrunner and I understand that people are concerned about Supernatural compromising its integrity but I think everybody needs to chill out. Let’s be happy and celebrate the renewal. The renewal is good news guys, so stop treating it like it’s the end of the world. We’re all here for the same reason: because we love the show. Let’s be happy for Sera (because she rocks!) and let’s be happy for Supernatural because, ultimately, we’re all fans.

I gotta have faith in Supernatural that it wont go back after season 5. Mabye i just dont want it to end yet and i know its tough to top the apocalypse but i still believe it will be awesome

  • Kyle

I have faith in all the writers of this show that they know what they’re doing. This show is great, and I truly believe it will continue to be great!

  • Susana

I’m a little sad, but Sera is awesome and he’s still going to be involved, so that’s good! This day has been like a rollercoaster : )

I’ve liked most of the episodes Sera has written and news of a sixth season was cause for celebration for me, but this news leaves me on the fence. I stuck with Buffy after season five and was sorely disappointed with most of seasons six and seven. I’m hoping that this will be a different case. As long as Kripke and Singer are still involved, I’ll have faith.

I gives Buffy and X-Files and examples of series who changed the story arc?? as i remember, both shows became tv crap after doing that and when they ended they were a mere depressing shadow of what they used to be.

hurray for taking supernatural down the same road…

  • christina

I really hope this works out in the end.

  • johnnynogood

they are fighting the devil in this season….this should be their final fight…end on a good note and not on some smallville-like tactic.

  • janitza

im nervous as to how season 6 will play out im happy there is another season but it should’ve ended on a high note and should’ve gone out with a big bang but if kripe is still around then let give s6 a chance but it better be good or im going to be sad

  • Rose

Yup as long as Kripke will still have involvement in the show I’ll be there. I’d be afraid if he completely left the show. As long as he’s around I don’t think there will be any sort of bias…

  • Angela

I’m not buying this until I see an official statement from Kripke, especially since I read something saying he was staying on board just a couple hours ago.

  • Enough

I don’t see why everyone is saying this show will die now. *headdesk* he isn’t leaving the show all together, and will work with Sera. <—- I have to wonder if anyone read that part or just went into panic mode. LMAO

However; I am with Angela I read elsewhere a few hours ago, that Eric was staying on board. So which is it?
