MELROSE PLACE is the best show on TV. The only reason I even know the CW exists. Get rid of LUX, horrible.

  • Linny

That’s weird, only 6 pilots sounds like they might be booting 2-3 shows (meaning Life Unexpected and Melrose Place). Life Unexpected never even got a chance with weird scheduling (and somehow doing incredible numbers for repeats) so I think it has a shot being a mid-season contender.

I actually like Melrose Place (why it goes after 90210 and not older One Tree Hill I don’t know) but I have no idea where the rest of the audience is. All of the pilots sound interesting enough so I’m hoping for the very best that Melrose goes midseason and shortened order.

I love Life Unexpected, but it’s not the type of show that would do well with a really long hiatus. They definitely don’t need to bring it back as mid-season. Bring it back in the fall! These other pilots sound like garbage. Well, the one with Amy-Sherman-Palladino in it sounds semi-interesting. That’s only because she’s going to be writing it though.

  • Chris

BeTwixt and Nomands dont sounds half bad. Better than 99.9% of stuff on the CW right now.

  • Sharlin

At least they don’t do cop dramas ala regular network.

  • Andrea

I don’t understand why they aren’t renewing it – MELROSE PLACE is the best show on the channel -and it’s so high-profile, everyone talks about that show!

  • Andrea

Hopefully the last 6 episodes of the season (which area a revamping of the show) will bring in the viewers.

  • Megan

I don’t care. Just renew my Life Unexpected, and we are cool CW!

BLAH!!! Nuthin there sounds good…Juat as long as they get rid of that smaltzey life unexpected crap! something fun a science fictiony…that isn’t joss whedon related…

If they cancel Melrose Place then I’m done with the CW becuase I DVR a lot of other shows on Tuesday just to watch Melrose and 90210 live. Personally, I don’t like the new direction 90210 is going in so if they cancel Melrose Place…see yah CW…I have better things to watch!

  • Mason

The CW definitely needs to keep Melrose going. I don’t know if it’s the current timeslot or if some people just aren’t giving it a chance but it is by far one of the best shows on TV! None of those pilots sound interesting.

Melrose Place is the ONLY reason I watch TV. I hope it gets a chance at another season. I think it could really develop into something trashier and super addictive.

  • Jeff

The CW has one show I watch- Melrose Place. I was a fan of the original and can see potential for trashy, water cooler addictiveness. DON’T CANCEL IT YOU DUMBA$$E$!!

    • Derrick

Melrose Place was a fail from the start. it should have been cancelled

  • Derrick

the CW will continue to sputter until they get more male oriented shows, or atleast more interesting ones with an even cast

It must be such a cool feeling to see your stuff being used and come acrsos it totally randomly walking down the street. Pics and graphics look great.

Perhaps this is a bit off topic but in any case, I have been surfing about your blog and it looks rlaley neat. impassioned about your writing. I am creating a new website and hard-pressed to make it appear great, and supply excellent posts. I have discovered a lot on your site and I watch forward to additional updates and will be back.
