    I have high hopes that NBC will not make a disaster of it like they did with Bionic Woman & Knight Rider.
    If Stephen Cannell helps keep the flavor of the original to some extent and Mulroney puts his own stamp on it and yet not forget that Rockford Files was realistic for its day, however the humor was there as well in the right degree.
    James Garner is an extremely tough act to follow but I will give it a fair shake and hope that David Shore will not disappoint us who loved the original.

    The new Rockford was canceled. NBC did not like the pilot that was shot. Stephen J. Cannell was not involved.
