The project revolves around a team of medical professionals who travel the U.S. helping those in desperate need of assistance.
Garofalo plays Angel, the chief nurse and operations manager. The backbone of the organization, she can tell you who’s where, what’s where, and everything in between. Angel never loses her cool and is always compassionate toward those who need help.
Garofalo joins a cast that also includes Amy Smart and Rachelle Lefevre (Twilight).

really, her politics are off the wall, insulting milliions. doesn’t CBS realize this? (I don’t know if her ‘interview’ on Behar is available, but according to her, I am a racist. ) I will not watch any show that has her on it, because of her views.
Her politics are fine, and if you’re a teabagger, you’re a racist.

The Crazies is a documentary about Teabaggers.
It’s really silly not to watch a show because of someone’s politics. There are many films and shows I’ve watched and loved that starred right-wingers, and I really don’t care.
Now, I’ll give you several reasons not to watch the show: First off, it’s yet another medical drama. This is a genre that has been beaten to death. Secondly, Janeane Garafalo just isn’t a particularly good actress. It’s just not her strong suit.
Really? Name one show or movie you avoided because of ‘right-wingers.’ There are no conservative actors or writers in Hollywood who are as obnoxious with their politics as is Garofalo.
But your subsequent reasons to avoid this are bang-on.
Anyone who uses the term “teabaggers” just can’t be taken seriously. Sorry. There’s just no way to claim the intellectual high ground in a political conversation when your only means of debate is to use elementary school level comments like that. Do you have to stop and giggle behind the jungle gym after something like that, or can you actually say it with a straight face?
Also, to say that all “teabaggers” (tee-hee-hee) are racist takes a lot of assumption on your part. You assume that they’re white just because they have common sense? Sure sounds to me like you’re the racist.
Haven’t the networks learned their lesson from the Medical Dramas that didn’t work in the last year?
most of hollywood is not original. They see one show work and jump and try to copy it as close as possibly. In the ’90s we had game shows, Eary 2000, reality shows. Look at all the ‘Law shows’, only the best survived. We had a run of medical shows, now it has come full circle and we are doing it again.

I really hope this isn’t another wannabe Grey’s Anatomy. Grey’s is the one and only, you really can’t recreate that.
Hopefully this will be more of a plot driven show as opposed to character driven and have more of a focus on the medical cases.
Well, everyone said you couldn’t recreate the success of ER when Grey’s came out….so…..
And sure enough, they DIDN’T. GA is silly and brainless. It can’t come close to ER at its peak.

Wow, I can’t even think of a single medical drama on TV already, so I can’t wait for this one. cough grey’s anatomy cough mercy cough house.
But still, she appears to piss off conservatives, so I’m all for anything she gets to do.
Anyone who pisses off conservatives by trying to enlighten them will have me on their side, too. While the doctor drama isn’t anything new, I’m interested so far thanks to their casting choices & I’ll at least be giving it a shot in the fall if it gets picked up. Plus, John Wells = quality.
The show will fail and then Garofalo will spend the following year complaining about the experience and all the ways in which she was “victimized” by everyone involved with the show.
Her radical politics and big mouth will alienate more viewers then bring in. Bad decision. You want viewers across America, not just in NY and California.
“Radical?” You might be more comfortable with shows like “Accoring to Jim.”

Great. Another reason not to watch television. She is a lousy actress. Hate her obnoxious politics, but if she could act I could live with it.
Plus…do we really need another medical show on TV? All the good ideas are truly gone, I guess.

So her knee jerk hatred of millions who disagree with her politics is fine with you but not liking her for that makes someone a scary hater in your book. Hate is in the eye of the beholder. If you disagreed with her politics at all, you could easily see that she is a bigot.
Why are they making another “Medical Investigation”?
As soon as I heard the description of this I wondered why they wanted to mess with Medical Investigations. That was one of my fav shows when it was on,let’s hope and pray they don’t ruin it.
Well this show is clearly doomed.
