Pilot Intel: Eric Close drawn to 'Chaos'

Eric Close is the latest Without a Trace vet to find a new TV gig. The actor has joined the cast of Chaos, CBS’ procedural about a group of rogue CIA operatives who combat bureaucratic gridlock, rampant incompetence, and political infighting. He’ll play Michael, one of the rogue agents. The cast also includes Six Feet Under‘s Freddy Rodriguez.

Great news. Looking forward to seeing Eric back on TV.

Will he bring his habit of cancelling series with him? I’ve lost count. And why on earth is he working with CBS after they treated the cast and crew so badly with WAT? He must be desperate. As I offically hate CBS after what they did with WAT, I won’t be bothering anyway -and he’s also a dull actor.

The show got ridiculous and because CBS didn’t own it, it cost a ton of money to make and if people really though it was worth saving, TNT would’ve picked it up, but they didn’t, the show was done. Period.

if he’s such a dull actor, why are you on his web site?

With CBS already having so many hit shows that are pretty solid in their current timeslots, I wonder when the pilots that end up being picked up will air. Sunday is probably a safe bet for at least one of them.

One of my all time favorite shows was Now & Again with Eric Close among others. In that he played a secret agent named Michael too. Here’s too dreaming for that to come back in someway.

agreed…it also helped that he was shirtless a lot :-D

      • Lucy

Ew, he can keep his shirt on in future please, he’s getting too old for it. And just what we need, another procedural. Yawn.

      • cattyfan

Since when is 43 considered “too old” to be shirtless?

        Lucy must be a 16 year-old.

Michael Vartan should join this show! Anyway, I’m glad Eric Close got another gig, he’s a good actor!

Love Eric Close. It’s shameful how WAT was treated. Hope the new show is given a chance to succeed. After all WAT was successful and they still took it off. Guess it was costing CBS too much money. All the best to Eric and Freddy Rodriguez.

I like Eric Close. Good luck with this show!

I’ve always liked Eric Close. They barely used him in the later seasons of Without a Trace, so it’s good to see him get another gig.

  • redvector

Another procedual on CBS what a surprise. But instead of cops it’s CIA agents ZZZZZZZ.

    • Sparky

Maybe they’ll put it on friday night to replace Numbers??? Was a huge fan of WAT for the first 4 seasons then it just became a mess, trying to mix the personal lives with the cases – did nt work and not really sorry that they finally let it go…Hope this show is a success.

  • ethelmertz

was hoping he would be Danny on 5-0, but this is just as good. Would watch him in anything

  • david
