    remember very well Julianne Moore on ATWT–used to be my favorite soap and she did a great job portraying duel roles—and so beautiful with the fawless complexion and red tresses–showed so much talent –remember Meg Ryan what a beauty she was in her role – soaps have a lot of great talent –I would feel bad if that medium disappeared—you come to love the characters and they can seem a little like “family” ATWT has great drama—

    very cool of her can’t wait to see it. maybe a few non-soapers will tune in and see how talented the cast is.

    Hey, Chris Goutman: get your head out of your ass! Don’t give her five words to say.

    I realize she can’t be on for a week, but let her be on for an episode or two to say hello to ALL of her family and toast her parents.

    Her role (and her on-screen parents) were and are pretty integral to the history of the show. The same history you keep trying to erase as if it never existed.

    YES! I’d like to see more than five words myself, but Julianne Moore as Frannie (I’m guessing? Or maybe she’ll do both Frannie AND Sabrina, I don’t know) wishing Bob and Kim a happy anniversary (they were married in April 1985 and renewed their vows in December 1991) is more than a lot of the returns on GL got. Looking forward to it!

      Well she is a bigger name but GL still got a larger quantity of returns as of yet.

        And more emotional than just a walk-on

    Its very cool of Julianne to make a visit back to “ATWT” Its a shame that they no longer have a good head writer on this soap like they did when Frannie/Sabrina were part of the canvas… {RIP Douglas Marland}

    Do Julianne Moore and James Franco have the same agent?

  • Renee

    I like her even more.

    This is wonderful news. Yes, a class act. Daytime drama is not second-class art. And to have an actress as highly regarded as Moore return to say good-bye to ATWT should be an example to others that where you began in not to be treated as a footnote in a career, but an important opportunity shared with many fans.

    I didn’t watch ATWT back when she was on it but never miss it these days and all I can say is the fact that she is coming back gives me nothing but respect for her as a person. So many actors and actresses look at soap operas as their dirty little secret past when in actuality, if it weren’t for the soaps, they would probably still be doing locally produced commercials at best. Now if only ATWT could get my all time fave actress, Parker Posey, back for an episode or two before the end…I might just be able to call myself the happiest gal on Earth

    I’m glad she’s doing a brief stint even if it is a walkon. Moore returning to ATWT for a brief spot shows that she has the respect of the show that gave her career a launch. Kudos.
