I have loved Mark Harmon ever since “Stealing Home”. He is truley the “glue” that holds NCIS together. Abby is his daughter he lost, Tony and McGee are his family also, Ziva is a trusted friend and ally. If he leaves so do we (family) we live for USA’s NCIS marathons, and have watched the show long enough to be able to recite the lines.

does anyone notice that besides the weight loss on McGee that his voice sounds weaker? I sure hope he’s not sick. Then again if I lost a few my voice might lighten up and I’m female!

I am a devoted watcher of NCIS, disabled, and parent. NCIS is a well-written show. ALL the characters Gibbs, DeNozzo, Ziva, Abby, McGee, Ducky… even Palmer and Vance make this show. My young daughter finds those that “trash” the show and it’s characters are nothing more than trolls and spammers out to incite loyal viewers. The only way to spot the trolls and spammersn is to ignore their comments. To respond is feeding their “addiction” to incite anger and discord among viewers.

NCIS is a wonderful show; the cast plays off each other magnificently…YES, Tony can be annoying and McGee too innocent for his own good, Ziva a bit to tough (but she’s ex-Mossad), Abby smarter than normal that goes with her “goth” persona, etc… BUT they all mesh to make the show #1. Even the recurring characters of Fornell and Cort help work the show.

ENOUGH OF MY “SOAPBOX” is time to watch both NCIS & NCIS:Los Angeles. Enjoy the shows my fellow NCIS fans and if your not a fan… change the channel. :)

I started watching NCIS this summer and found i have been missing a great show. Needless to say i am hooked. The characters are great and they draw you into the show.I have now watched all episodes and own some.I love the Gibbs character and without him the show would die.

I watch NCIS and there will be not one person that could replace Mark Harmon. He is what make the show and why would they want to rid of his character. This person needs to reconsider his decission. I would like to know why he has choosen to do this and ruin a perfectly good show.

It’s the writers who form the basis of the show. The characters give their scripts life. We sometimes forget how writers come up with new scripts and ideas. It’s a team which is successful. We often forget those in the background who come up with ideas and scripts.

I love the NCIS cast and the chemistry is strong with all the cast memebrs and it definitely would not be worth watching without Mark Harmon’s character. I really missed Kate’s character when she was left the show but Ziva character grows on you! I really hope that Mark never leaves NCIS because his character interacts so well with all the rest of the characters. I have always liked Mark’s acting – he makes ever part believable.

All the characters are very interesting. Each for their unique personality. In each episode, there is drama, fun, and, DINozo adds humore, seriousness, Everyone likes McGee for his shyness, determination, knowledge. The chracter, Ziva can be a naughty girl as she holds her own with the ”boys”. She takes no guff. Abby’s character is full of zest, knowledge of forensics, and loves all Gibb’s crew despite their flaws, child-like humor, nd worries when they are in trouble. The character of Gibbs is based on his loss of family, work ethic, and drive. Combined, all the chracters form a close knit unit with something fo all.

Please forgive mis-spells in my post. Keys have begun to stick.

NCIS is one of the best ensemble shows on the tube at this time, but without “Gibbs” it won’t make it. He is the glue that holds it all together.
I will admit I am getting very tired of “Tony’s” sophmoric antics. Gibbs should tell him to clean up his act.

I agree with most…Mark Harmon IS NCIS…He is a great actor and if he left the show…I would stop watching…like John Nettles in Midsummer Murders..its not the same I do not watch it anymore. I live in Zambia..AND I LIVE FOR NCIS they are one big family ALL OF THEM. Mark Harmon plays his role well VERY WELL INDEED. I am sure he produces the show as well. So Mark YOU WILL BE STAYING!!
