I just got my hands on some fresh intel surrounding Harris’ role in the Joss Whedon-helmed episode, so you best stop reading, spoilerphobes!
According to a Glee insider, NPH will play Bryan Ryan, a high school glee club nemesis of Will’s (Matthew Morrison) who resurfaces as a board member at William McKinley.
“Flashback scenes will show Bryan picking up girls and getting all the cool solos,” reveals the source, “while Will sits off in the sidelines.”
The stage for a present-day rematch is set when Harris’ character announces his intent to cut the arts programs at the school. “Show choir ruined his life, made him feel he could be a star, but all he could do is book Carnival cruises,” explains the insider. “Now he wants vengeance.”
The episode — which I’m told features a climactic duet between Harris and Morrison — goes before the cameras next week and is slated to air during May sweeps.
Legen — wait for it… here it comes — dary stuff, right? (That’s the last time I’m doing that, BTW. Swear.)
BTW, Glee returns with the first of nine new episodes in 40 days.

Bryan Adams is a Canadian singer-songwriter who had a string of pretty big hits back in the 80′s and 90′s. That’s the only Bryan Adams I can think of.

I don’t know if this is relevant but I believe I read somewhere that Bryan Adams was the only artist who refused to let Glee use his music. I don’t remember where I read this, it was a while ago.

You realize there ARE people out there that have the capacity to watch both shows, right? Being a Lost fan and being a Glee fan are not mutually exclusive!
Some folks like both shows, and you know darn well that “that show” is still on.
Ausiello tweeted a Lost spoiler without a spoiler warning … so to make up for it, he said he’d post a legendary Glee spoiler. Hence the comment about the Lost spoiler.
The first time I saw it, the plot was terribly thin and the musical numbers were nothing more then filler drag out the episode. I shut it off after the third one. If I wanted to watch music videos doing covers of songs I didn’t like in the first place I could switch to a cabe music chanel.
If I wanted to see bad spelling and grammar I’d be a grade school teacher.
But if you were a grade school grammar teacher it would still be more entertaining then sitting through an episode of Glee; more enlightening too.
Ugh, speaking of grammar, it’s “should HAVE”, not “should of.” Sorry, that’s the one thing I just can NOT let go.
I say Glee is a limply plotted excuse to showcase cover song music videos and the only response I get is a critique of my spelling and grammar. But go ahead. I freely admit it sucks as much as the show does.
