The article preview/link on the main EW page says season 5 spoiler alert. Having not seen S4, why would you even open the article. Makes no sense. If you open it, then you are responsible for what you read.

    • Shamrock

Read again, nobody is complaining about opening the article and being spoiled, it was on the main page this morning with as a blurb and the first line was about Rita.

  • Gusar

I am *extremely* glad to read this. Making a time jump would totally cheapen Rita’s death. This was the right decision to do and I’m really, really looking forward to see Dexter deal with this in full.

    • Merideth

Totally agree. I am so happy the writers decided NOT to jump ahead in time for season 5. I want to see Dexter calling in his wife’s brutal murder, Deb’s reaction, and see Dex having to deal with the loss of his beloved Rita and raise his children. Also so glad to hear MCH is doing well. Best wishes to him (my favorite actor) and anxiously waiting season 5 :)

The text on the main page says: ‘Dexter’: Season 5 inside dishSPOILER ALERT! Exec producer Sara Colleton answers Michael Ausiello’s burning questions

I don’t see any spoilers there. Spoiler whiners need to grow the hell up. Season 4 ended nearly three months ago, the rest of us shouldn’t have to tiptoe around the ones that haven’t seen it yet.

    • Shamrock

Some can’t see it. Just don’t post spoilers on the main page.

    • Rusty Shackleford

They are not talking about that text. Earlier this morning “Still haunted by the sight of Rita’s lifeless, bloody corpse floating in her and Dexter’s bathtub?” was posted without a warning under the blog section.

  • arielle

it spoiled it for me also but i’m not going to cry about it, it’s a TV SHOW.

  • Mark

jfc. This is hardly an exclusive, considering Kristen posted ALL of it (and much more) two hours prior. There goes Ausiello with his delusions of grandeur again.

    • Tessa

Not to mention, Kristen was smart enough to not spoil those who haven’t seen last season.

  • Rusty Shackleford

If posted a comment after 10 about people whining about spoilers, you will have no idea what the main point of the argument was. It was gone by the time you posted.

  • Raven

yay dexter info!!! im glad that they are not skipping ahead..i think i like how season 5 sounds so far:D

  • Tessa

Thanks for spoiling the season finale. You’re a hack of a TV journalist

    • Big Fan

If you don’t see the season finale after it actually airs, not to mention 2 months later, than it’s at your own risk. That’s just ridiculous complaining it now.

      • bob

i agree with the first post, your an ass. you ruined season 4 in one sentence when i typed dexter into google. your a joke.

  • David

Just because of all the spoiler whiners, and I apologize in advance to those overseas serving our country who have a legitimate excuse for having not seen it, but Lundy is also killed and it’s Trinity’s daughter who does it. Oops. My bad.

Order Showtime for a week and watch it already you penny pinching cry babies.

    • bob

sorry we have a life and cant sit at home alone every episode wishing we were dexter. get a life.

  • Jean

So happy to hear that Michael C Hall is recovering well. My best wishes for a continued full recovery!

  • Lorraine

Thank your for the Season 5 scoop, I’ve been waiting to hear what the next season would be about since the finale lol.

  • S

    sounds horrible.

skip the grieving stuff, we’ve seen it already, and get a kick ass big bad.

  • Heather

Will JoBeth Williams be back as Rita’s disaproving mother?

  • KentuckyKim

Let me think….Hummmmm. These writers forget nothing. Rita was married to her first husband and then Paul and then Dexter. Rita never mentioned her first husband…and Dexter never questioned it. Something tells me that this guy is going to show up in season 5 somewhere…otherwise that’s just a piece of loose information just lying around for no reason.

  • ihatefanboys

gotta love the “thanks for the spoiler” guys… excuses, excuses, excuses…i dont hav showtime, guess what ? i watch online the day after the ep airs..waiting for dvds is just lame, and primarily for the dumb asses that cant remember what hap a week ago, so their only recourse is to watch the episodes back to back to back…military folk or others that are away, i agree…. life sucks, get over it. u go on sites like these u take chances of spoiling something u havent watched ….its march already…the season ended in what ? november ? ..let me break out my tiny violin for u

    • bob

again. we have lives, and want to watch it commercial free with our girl/boyfriend. of course you wouldnt know anything about that.

    • Lee

It actually finished on the 12th of December.

      • Lee

        Oh wait no, the 13th.
