    My heart is broken…after closely watching a following the first and second season of spartacus it kills me to hear Andy won’t be returning. I hope he makes a speedy recovery. Seeing someone else play his part will be stressful and it will be hard but i just hope he fights his illness with as much courage and fiercness as he did in the arena. Get better!

    wow hope he gets better soon cause aint no point on me watching the 3 season if he is not gonna be in it may GOD bless him and give him a good recovery with no more cancer..

    Oh course he will beat it. . He is Spartacus. . My definition of Spartacus / Or say a Spartan perhaps. . .is being a passionate man, who controls his world through his thoughts, and in turn, they become his actions and beliefs. . Simple really. Alpha Male. . Awesome and extremely hot.

    Why do we lose all our hunky men to the southern hemisphere! Spartacus absolutly brillient. Andy Whitfield you are a real star and you will be sadly missed in Spartacus Revenge. Speedy recovery the small screen needs you as do your family. Engineering to Acting..kind of a big career move there and what a lucky move for us ladies. xxx

    So sad, blamed on cancer, Andy Whitfield died September 11, 2011 from the deadly “treatment” he was given. If Andy would have contacted the Gerson Institute instead, he’d still be alive today.
