'House' video: Robert Sean Leonard unplugged!

Did you hear? Those tricksters at Fox are trying to bait us into watching House reruns on Friday night by incorporating exclusive new content into the episodes. Sneaky bastards. To their credit, the bonus material doesn’t suck. In fact, the inaugural segment — which debuted last Friday and featured the always-entertaining Robert Sean Leonard — is actually a lot of fun. Unfortunately, due to a technical glitch the piece only ran on the West Coast. Fortunately, I convinced Fox to let me embed the clip after the jump so the rest of the country could see what they missed. Yes, I am awesome.

Fox's enhanced encore experiment continues tomorrow with interview subject Omar Epps. Upcoming segments will feature Hugh Laurie, Lisa Edelstein, Olivia Wilde, Peter Jacobson, and Jesse Spencer.

LOL! You gotta love that guy!

    • Katie

      Yeah!

  • Chris

    Meh.

  • David4

That wouldn’t get me to watch a repeat.

  • Kristen

    ^^….Exhibit ‘Q’ of why I love RSL! :)

  • Not enough

There’s only one thing that would get me to watch House again. Cameron back on the show fulltime.

    • Amy

UGH so tired of the whining!! She’s coming back for a couple of episodes and then she’s leaving. Get over it!

      • katilin

OMG just because you don’t like Cameron, doesn’t mean other people are the same. I bet you would whinge if one of your favourite characters left! So just shut up, I love Cameron.

    • lisa

not happening, sorry. just give up and find yourself a new show.

    • bklynny

Give it up already. Cameron is NOT coming back full time, only to wrap up her thing with Chase, so he can finally move on.

  • M

Looks like someone is trying to get back in the good graces of the House showrunners for spoiling too many of their big reveals.

    • Rowan

Who do you think gave him the spoilers? They’re choosing to use Mike’s blog as a marketing tool.

  • alex

    he is so cute!

  • BB

    hahah he’s the best!

  • Susan

Does anyone else remember him from Dead Poets Society with Robin Williams? House fan since day 1!

    • Lala

He was so preppy and cute in that movie. I didn’t know it was RSL until I saw it again a couple years ago and had a “that was HIM??” moment. The actor who played his father in that movie (I forget his name, he also played the father in That 70s Show) was in an early episode of House, but they didn’t have any scenes together. It was weird.

        Kurtwood Smith.

House is one of the best shows on tv not a lot left.

  • Katie

    He’s too awesome.

  • lisa

This has been online for a couple of days now. It’s short, but pretty cool.

  • Anne

Can anyone tell me why the Fox network continually has sound interruptions during their programming and actual TOTAL interrupted programming all the time? Is this a problem with FOX, or my cable provider, Direct TV? There literally have been entire episodes of shows that I have missed because nothing was showing except a white screen stating “We know there is a problem; no need to call us, sorry”.

    • Chris

Uh… that’d be Direct TV. Which, by the way, is satellite – not cable.

  • Mamma Mia

I’d be very happy if I got to see the entire hour; my recording cut off early this past Monday.:(

  • Tash

    LOL. RSL is awesome. :)
