I still enjoy 24, but it’s time for the show to end. It’s not what it used to be, and I don’t want it
to get any worse. If it goes out now, I can end its run with some dignity and still decent ratings.

This has nothing to do with ratings, the show is awesome, but it’s run it’s course. I’m okay with letting it go. Anyway, they could start a great movie franchise.

  • Rich

OMG people total viewers dont matter to the networks! what matters is viewers 18-49 and the last 6 or 7 new episodes of 24 has got a 2.7 and that is way down from a 4.6 that the show normally gets and thats why the show will be cancelled and it really dont matter but there total viewers are down to this season 9.03 million for the last new episode.

  • Redvector

Yeah you would think as the season draws down you’d think the ratings would go up but they’re going steadily down week by week.

Renee is the downfall of the show. Focus back on Jack and please kill that nut on the last episodes. No one wants her in the movie! Dana and Renee made the ratings go down. It’s picked up since Renee has not been in it!

    • Hope

Actually Dana and her ‘Past’ is real cause for blame. you can mark my words on that. They always did have a boring subplot on this show and this one’s the worst ever.

The show’s had a good run. It’s probably for the best that it come to an end now before it gets run into the ground. Besides, I’ve been watching too much tv lately anyways, I need some of my regulars to come to an end!

People, come on. The show jumped the shark in the “we might go to war with Iraq” season… which was upstaged by the REAL war in Iraq on its third episode! Every season since then the stories have become increasingly absurd. How do you follow exploding a nuke in L.A.? I know: the THREAT of exploding a nuke in New York! How completely stupid and irrelevant this season is.

    • Dylan

uhh… what? There was never a “we might go to war with Iraq” season.

  • Susan

24 needs to go back to Los Angeles. It was much better there. I am a 24 addict as well but am not enjoying it quite as much in New York as I did when it was in L.A. Possibly because I am a California girl. Please keep 24 coming a few more years. We really need this show to keep going as there is so little on tv worth watching anymore.

  • Cat34

I want a season 9 to have a proper sendoff, a great ending. What’s that?! Fox told this is the end in the middle of the season !
