I’m interested, I was a rugular viwer of her older daytime show. I hope she’ll return to her “Queen of Nice” (that’s what Newsweek called her) status like before she came out, instead of acting like she did on The View, starting fights with Kelly Ripa, Donald Trump and Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

Sorry for a couple of typos, I meant regular viewer.

Oh My God- Being an XM subscriber, and listening to her show, I have come to ADORE this Woman and it was not always so.
Whatever makes HER happy- But I have my doubts this will happen as she to really love the whole Radio genre; Could be the money
Wherever she goes, I will follow

  • Ellen (Not THAT Ellen)

She had a good run when she was on the first time. She was funny and did well in the ratings. But her time is done. Let someone else have a shot! There are so many hopefuls in that industry, why should she get to hog all the air time? She has her radio show that apparently does well in the ratings too. She’s trying to have her cake and eat it too. And unless you’re Ryan Seacrest, that generally doesn’t work out.

I find it interesting people that claim to hate Rosie take the time to know so much about her as person/celebrity. Why would any one take the time or care about an individual they claim to hate?

The highest ratings on both Oprah and Ellen were when they tackled politically or culturally taboo topics. When they brought those conversations into our homes, the ratings soared. Why is that? Because that is what the public wants to hear, learn and talk about. They just need permission to……and talk shows like Oprah and Ellen provide a reason to converse about controversial topics.

Rosie offers the public a fresh view on the issues at hand. And even if you are not in agreement with her view, she still motivates people to converse about important issues. Much like other shows, the hope is to begin the dialog and Rosie is unabashed in starting difficult conversations. Thank God she is brave, bold and yes, unapologetic for being loud. The silence and apathy in this country is a malignant cancer devouring our souls. If it wasn’t for individuals like Rosie, we would wallow in our silent abyss indefinitely.

I for one hope her show is a great success and gets us talking about important issues. Moreover, I hope it encourages us to find positive solutions for our country’s problems. And if she can make us laugh at ourselves in the process, all the better!

She will do great and her show will be wonderful. She is what we need someone who is so honest it hurts.

Can I just say this Rosie O’Donnell coming back to TV is utterly ridiculous! Who needs her or even wants her back on a daytime talk show series again? It was too much when she left the last time so how is this going to be any different? Thank you!
