Carrie Fisher and Curb Your Enthusiasm‘s Cheryl Hines have joined the cast of the ABC pilot Wright vs. Wrong, sources confirm. Written by MadTV alum Stephnie Weir, the project stars Debra Messing as a right-wing political pundit. Hines plays her liberal rival and Fisher her manager.

YES. I also hate when show titles dictate the main character’s name for other reasons, like how “HawthoRNe” has the capital RN because she’s a nurse, so they had to name her something with an RN in it. Get your obnoxious elbow out of my ribs, TV people. You’re not being clever or funny.

Does this mean no eigth season of Curb?
Cheryl is probabyly looking for something more full time. Curb goes on hiatus sometimes for 2 to 3 years which is ridiculous but understandable since its on HBO. I love Curb but I don’t know how many more seasons it can have before it loses it creativity

I was sold until I read Debra Messing. I’ve got nothing against her but I just can’t see her in this part. Especially going up against Carrie Fisher and Cheryl Hines. They’ll overshadow her for sure.
LOVE Cheryl Hines hope the show gets picked up female comedies have been doing really well lately with Parks & Recreation,30 Rock & Cougar Town.If only NBC would wise up and give Kristen Wiig her own show!
