'Big Love' exclusive: Chloë Sevigny expresses regret, blames exhaustion on her 'awful' outburst

It appears my Katherine Heigl mea culpa-themed cover story is already reaping dividends: Big Love star Chloë Sevigny just rang me up to perform her Read the full post.

The writers on this season were lazy. Just plain lazy. Too much plotting and not enough character development. It was just ridiculous how much they crammed in there. This show totally went off the rails this season and Chloe Sevigny is speaking the truth.

I love Big Love and Chloe, however I was surprised by the frankness of her remarks. Although she was spot on with her remarks about the recently completed season of Big Love. I found it difficult and almost painful to watch! I don’t know how this show can be resurected from the past season of disappointment. Chloe’s opinion showed me that I wasn’t alone in my doubts about last season.

When is Season 4 going to be on HBO? I’ve just signed up for HBO for this show but can’t find it.

as much as i LOVE the show (the characters, the actors and actresses, and EVERYTHING about it), it wouldn’t be the same without Chloë and her character Nicki. <3

    A YEAR LATER…..
Season Four put an end to “Big Love”.
I was a HUGE fan of this show, LOVED seasons one and two. By the third season you could tell the writers took the wrong fork in the road. The main principle OF the “Principle” was family growth. Instead of storylines writing children out of the family Nikki and Margene should have been allowed at least one more pregnancy (each). LOTS of SEX going on in those houses but no babies (Nikki on the pill … how stupid was that!)? Even though the writers started losing me I kept watching, primarily because I wanted to see if they could dig the Hendrickson’s out of the unbelievable, underentertaining situation they put them in. Well that and Margene… I HATE (and always have) the “Nikki” character, in my opinion Margene carried the show. Anyway I think the writers failed the characters in this story, who knows how many more seasons “Big Love” might have had if the focus had stayed on big love? Instead it stalled out and ended as a “Big Mess”. How sad.
    Just my opinion.

Chloe Sevigny, spoke her true feelings. I agree 125% that the writers had no clue what they were doing, I found myself yelling at the television during the hole 4th season. Chloe Sevigny is really kissing ass and pointing blame at reporters, as a fan I’ve lost respect for her in SO many ways. Having a hard day had nothing to do with her comments. Chloe Sevigny did her job as a actress and has every right to her opinion. I think the sudden change the writers made in season 4 caused season 5 to be the last. Really folks betrayal in office Bill Henderickson has a set of elephant balls. Chloe Sevigny say what you mean and mean what you say I heard the interview and you sound alert and relaxed your statement was direct and very clear.. I understand after saying it there was clearly no retracting so this taken out of context is to protect your job and ass. I believe you said it and meant it. GoodBye Big Love
