It’s official: 24‘s time is up.
Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe) confirmed via Twitter that “we [just] got the word officially… this is 24‘s last season.” Former exec producer/director Jon Cassar also tweeted that the crew “has been told that 24 has come to an end. There will be no season 9. It’s been a great run.”

As much as I love 24 I think it’s probably time for it to call it a day (no pun intended). Never in a million years did I think this show would have the run that it did. Hopefully they are able to give it the ending it deserves! Gonna miss you Jack!
It was time. ’24′ has been pastt its prime for a while now. Keifer always said he wanted Jack to die; will he die in the show finale?

It’s probably time for an end. 8 seasons is a long time for a one hour show that isn’t a medical or legal procedural.
