So, it’s pretty much official. There are going to be absolutely no decent one hour serialized drama shows on next season. Lost is ending, 24 is canceled, and everything else is pretty much about to be canceled.
Cancelled huh??!! DARN!!! I will certainly miss “24″. It was the kind of series that kept tv audiences on the edge of their sofas every week (You never knew what would happen next). “24″ ranks up there with classics like “Mission: Impossible”, “The Wild, Wild, West”, and “The Pretender”. Hopefully the adventures of Jack Bauer will continue in either graphic novels or motion pictures. I would love to see a story where Jack finds Bin Laden and kills him. Oh well, thanks “24″ for giving us our first Black President, sorry Obama, David Palmer was FIRST!!!! Heh!!!!!
Dammit Chloe, I need more time!
While I wiil be sad to see it end, I think it has a great run and the timing is right. Thanks for giving us an awesome show. I love Jack and Chloe. I do hope Jack gets to “ride off into the sunset” as it were – perhaps with Renee?
It was good while it lasted but I am ready for it’s ending
Finally.
Somehow the world will seem less safe.
24 has had a great run, its has been a ground breaking concept and has consistently pushed the boundaries of modern TV. It’s a shame that it ends this year, would have been nice to have it billed as “the final season!”. Well done to all who have put so much effort into 24 over the past 9 years.
Dammit!
One of the best action packed shows ever. We need more Jack Bauer’s in the world. will miss this show. It was a must!!
since they’re going to movies
we need a die hard/24 crossover
It’s time. LOVE the show and Monday’s will never be the same. BUT better to go out with dignity than to end up a cartoon of its former self (see Happy Days and Fonzie, All in the Family and Archie etc.) Long live the idea of Jack Bauer, thanks Kiefer for a great ride–see ya on the Big Screen.
That’s just crap! One of the few remaining great shows and now it’s going to end! Pretty soon, no one will be watching TV. Lost and 24 ending at the same time? Well, guess my DVR will have a lot more room on it next season. All the new shows they keep putting out are basically crap.
what am I going to do without Jack Bauer on Mondays? I wish another network was picking 24 up. It’s a must watch everyweek.
