Its either Chloe or Zod. It cant be any other. I always said that Chloe will leave after Season 9 (she said last year on her blog Season 9 will be her last) and that they will kill her off bc the Legion said in the future there is no record of Chloe being a part of Clarks Superman-life.
On the other hand I am convinced since months now that Zod will kick it. He is just the clone and NOT the original Zod so thats quite possible then. Also he, like Davis/Doomsday before him is the villain of this Season and his and the Kandorians story will most likely not continue on Season 10. Also there is no Zod-clone in the comics so its pretty certain he will vanish or die in the season finale. With Jimmy they only could kill him by revealing he isnt the real Jimmy from the comics (which makes sense since the comic-Jimmy is supposed to be about 10 years younger than Lois and Clark) so that worked out. But They cant pull this kind of thing twice with characters like Lana,Perry,Martha or Oliver. And even while the Chlarkers will now in their eternal misguided obsession claim (like they always do and not surprisingly they are never right)that Lois will be outed to be not the “real” Lois and will die all the sane real Superman-fans know this is never going to happen. ED is THE Lois Lane, so get the hell over it.
THIS
I guess you haven’t been around for the past nine years wherein they reused, reheated, and rehashed every zombie plot they have in their repertoire. Not a Chlarker, still hoping Lois bites it. She can just be a corpse for realsies.
Chloe’s Died so many times she would proberly come back to life anyway.I vote zod
They could do that. The writers MIGHT just remember her superpower! (Gosh, I’m optimistic. The writers remembering something from a previous season?)
chloe.
It’s almost certainly going to be Chloe, but I would love to see Oliver bite the dust. I can’t stand the guy anymore. I know it would be like spitting in the face of the DC fan community, but the show has been moving away from being about Clark and the people around him. Now it’s about Clark *and* Oliver and the people around them, and I don’t think that’s right. Getting rid of him would be a step in the right direction.
Totally agree John! My preference would be for Oliver to be written out of the show too.
Smallville is about Clark Kent, not the JL. GA should just be a guest star, like all of Clark’s other JL colleagues.
Get rid of Oliver, and bring in Martha Kent and Perry White for the last (tenth) season. These two characters play an important part in Clark’s story.
Please let it be Zod ot Lois, they’re so uninteresting and poorly developed characters.
If they kill Chloe or Tess I will stop watching. SV with no AM? or CF? No strong females in charge are big No No’s.
lois is Clark love interest for over 70 yrs she’s not going anywhere people get over it. And CF is resigned already for s10 that leaves AM and well Zod will probably end up in the PZ
I actually think Lois is the best developed character on the show. “Idol” was one of the most interesting episodes I’ve ever seen on this show in terms of character development. I also think she’s the strongest female on the show and I find her the most interesting. I love Cassidy and I love Tess. I could care less about Chloe. I actually don’t care about her enough to even want her to die. I just want her gone.
Those of you saying you won’t watch without Chloe have missed the entire point of Smallville. This was never a show about Chloe. It was ALWAYS a show about Clark. He’s the damn star of the show. If you were watching this show for one supporting character and placing everyone on her then you missed the point entirely.
Smallville has always been an ensemble cast. So they show is about Clark but it is also about the other characters on it as well. And your post is rather hypocritical as I doubt you would stay if Lois left.
It’s definitely Chloe in my opinion the way they’ve been writing her this season definitely denotes an end to her story arc.
I hope Zod or Tess kills Chloe
I think it’s cute that you think Clark would devote a season to avenging his BFF’s death. Have you watched this season? He doesn’t give a damn about her anymore. Unfortunately, Chloe/Allison Mack hasn’t had much to do this season, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they killed her off. It’d be a shame for her to die after such a lackluster season for her character, though.
She *might* be the reason he becomes Superman according to some, though. Plausible..but vomit inducing
If Chloe is the reason that Clark finally becomes Superman, then the Smallville writers are an even bigger bunch of brainless hacks than I thought! First superLana and then this! Siegel and Shuster would be spinning out of control in their graves! NOBODY would enjoy that storyline except Chloe fans.
Winkie- did you see that article here about a pregnancy in a well covered tv show? One of them might be Smallville. If they jump THAT shark, then things are going to get a little crazeee..
I hope it isn’t Chloe or Oliver. I’m really pushing for LANA. Don’t worry guys, she dies and comes back to life quite often. ¬_¬ Maybe she’ll die and STAY DEAD this time.
Lana will never die in Smallville!!! How could she even die,, she’s long gone in the show!!! Lois should die!!
Come on people, it’s obviously gonna be Chloe. Allison Mack confirmed herself after season 9 was announced that this was gonna be her last season. I’ll miss her. I think she has become a huge and important character through the years. I just think that if she dies that mostly all of her fanbase is gonna die with her. I’m afraid that a lot of people might stop watching if they kill her off. She has a lot of fans, I just think that killing her off might seriously hurt the ratings.
honestly they aren’t that many its just that they are very loud and annoying… I don’t mind opinions everyone has them but when you start bashing actors and trying to get them fired you cross a line. And honestly they’re are alot of Smallville fans out there and the majority of them love how great smallville has been this season truthfully not worried about the ratings they said the samething when KK and MR left and Smallville is doing great.
Oh really…Smallville is doing great with ratings averaging just 2.5 mill.. Yeah, Smallville is doing great!!! CLois fans are really the best source of relevant facts!!! Bravo to you all Cloisers for being the dumbest ship of all!!!
@michael…2.5 million is history!!! there’s new record breaker….1.99 million ratings!!! Great, isn’t it?
PLEASE DON’T LET IT BE CHLOE!!!! I love Allison Mack and want her back for season 10! … I vote Zod!
If they kill Lois ,I am done with SV. She’s my fave character. I like Chloe too, so I don’t want her to die. I hope it’s Zod.
Honey it says it right there that Lois is safe. Lois isn’t going anywhere. It’s not even worth getting riled up about. THis is definitely a race between Zod/Chloe
Also, my guess is Zod. The actor hasn’t gelled in the role, and how much longer can they keep a villain like Zod around anyway?
Plus, word has it that Allison Mack is actually in negotiations to return. Whether or not it happens is anyone’s guess, but it appears the show wants her back, and that the actress is considering it. *shrugs*
Why is death necessary for a season finale? I mean really after all the finales that we’ve seen that have had lives hanging in the balance or supposed murders out not to be true or real deaths, they just really don’t have the same effect anymore. So I think it would be more interesting to see a finale that doesnt’ involve death at all. It would be way more original. I mean there are ways to write people off the show that don’t involve dying.
That said I think the only real three options are Zod, Tess, and Chloe. Everyone else is comic/mythos friendly and there wouldn’t be any loopholes for them to use. I don’t really think its going to be Tess though, I think they need her character with no Lex around. So really that leaves Zod and Chloe (as sad as it makes me) and I think they have pretty even odds. I think the Kandorian storyline is going to be over after this season (though I could be terribly wrong), so there wouldn’t be a reason to keep him around. And AM’s contract is up and while I don’t want Chloe’s character to die, I don’t think there’s been a time when an original character didn’t leave the show by dying so I can’t say I’m expecting anything less.
Here’s hoping that whatever they do, this finale is better than failsday!
Remember Lois’ death in Season 6 finale?! Chloe died two times in Season 7.
I’m afraid its Chloe who dies forever. Smallville will never be the same without her. But if she finds her peace in death, i can live with it.
