Highlights of the hour include an analysis of the two-hour conclusion, an appearance by executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, and live interviews with several of the show’s cast members (to be announced at a later date). Kimmel’s tribute, which gets underway at 11:35 pm, will be immediately followed by streaming video of me frantically refreshing EW.com looking for Doc Jensen’s recap.

Interesting… Darlton have always said that they’re going to go into total radio silence after the finale. I wonder what made them change their plans. Unfortunately I’ll have to Tivo this one because I’ll be too much of a crying wreck after the finale.

They announced in their podcast that this appearance will be on tape and they won’t be commenting after the finale.
there was a video of something i saw that the lost finale event starts at 7/6c so what is airing at 7pm that night?

Yes, the producers had previously announced (on Kimmel’s show actually) that the finale will air on a Sunday night (May 23) rather than it’s regular Tuesday night timeslot.
Yep, it was announced a few weeks ago that the finale would air on Sunday.
i was hoping they’d do a whole cast interview like the friends cast did and i think the cheers cast did.
This is EXACTLY what I was thinking, and I hope each and every one of them is too drunk to function the way the Cheers cast was in 93!
Maybe they will have a cast reunion and Jeff Probst will be asking each of them what they have been up to since they were killed off on the island.
I guess I will have to watch Kimmel now. I can’t stand the guy but anything LOST related I have to watch
Kimmell has been a die hard Lost fan since the beginning it seems so this is a fitting party farewell.
Can he do it like the Cheers finale where it’s at a bar and everyone just gets smashed. Now that would be great!!!!

I was hoping that Team Darlton wouldn’t go dark with no comments after the finale. I had read somewhere they would give no interviews after. This is great – I hope they give some insight into the factors that contributed to the show. I want to see if some of Doc Jensen’s theories proved spot on.
