Someone better get himself a publicist, STAT! House is handing its burgeoning fan fave, Nurse Jeffrey (Patrick Price), a major promotion in the form of his Own. Freakin’. Spinoff.
But there’s a small twist.
The upcoming offshoot, titled Nurse Jeffrey, will be the crown jewel of a new House iPhone app that will make its debut later this month. Titled inHOUSE, the free app will update every Monday and feature exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and photos, a video blog with the drama’s writers, and a weekly giveaway in which fans can win one-of-a-kind swag.
Nurse Jeffrey will be added to the mix beginning May 24, with new “appisodes” debuting every Monday throughout the summer. The (literally) mini series — Fox’s attempt to bridge the three-month gap until House returns in September — will feature an “Upstairs, Downstairs” style of storytelling and explore the world of Princeton Plainsboro that exists beyond Dr. Crankypants and Co.

Question for the cyclist out there. I’m going to start rtaining for tri’s (been doing the CFE site for a while w/ just running) and wondered how others are rtaining for the cycling portion. Are people using the indoor trainers for the interval work on the bike and then on the road for the distance rides? I have about 2+ months before the weather gets too cold/snowy here in SW Idaho to ride, so an indoor trainer is on the list of stuff to buy. Thanks!
I think that as long as your form stays good, you can break up the workouts eovewhr you like. For higher rep metcons I make minisets all the time (ie 21 dead lifts becomes 3 sets of 7 with 10 seconds rest).Check out the whiteboard Wednesdays for some from the past two weeks for some options on scaling. If you’re struggling to get 50 reps with 45#, you can use a lighter weight lighter, do fewer reps, or you can do exactly what you did. Each choice will tailor your workout slightly differently (lighter weight = faster, more metabolic conditioning, heavier weight = more time, more strength biased). It all depends on your personal needs and goals. At least those are my thoughts, others in the community will correct me where I’m wrong

I don’t have an iphone, don’t want one either, so this won’t be interesting for me anyway. But Fox seems to be really concerned about the show when they feel the sudden need of such intensive promotion. The show definitely didn’t need that during it’s best times in the first seasons.

No offense, but in all honesty Nurse Jeffrey is not interesting enough to merit his own app. Also, I don’t get why Hamerons insist on trolling this blog and saying hateful things about Huddy. It’s sad. Especially on an update that has nothing to do with Huddy and contained no Huddy remarks previously. This show is still one of the best out there.

IAWTC. This is part of what makes HOUSE such a great t.v. show to support. Great cast, stellar writers, smart, intuitive producers. But also, it is innovative. These people aren’t afraid to try new things; to break the mold. I thought Jeffrey was funny, but not enough to intrigue me to watch a mini spin-off. I’ll still give it a shot. Additionally there are other inducements.
