Sources confirm to me exclusively that the ex-Veronica Mars and Big Shots actor has been cast as Bill, the husband of the patient played by Moore’s character, Mary. Little else is known about the story, except that Bailey will serve as Mary’s doctor.
The Grey’s gig caps a busy couple of months for the in-demand Devlin. In addition to snagging a lead role opposite William Shatner in the CBS pilot S–t My Dad Says, he’s currently recurring on Cougar Town as a love interest to Busy Philipps’Laurie.
He’s a cutie.

Yeah, I barely remember Season 3. I tend to think of the good days of VM.
Yeah, and even during that arc I had to turn to my friend and ask who the heck the guy was. Sorry, but season 3 really sucked.
I remember who he was on Vmars, but whenever there’s a post about vmars alum I always get excited thinking it will be jason dohring, francis capra, or teddy dunn etc.

yeah teddy dunn is pretty wooden. i love seeing ryan devlin on cougartown but there aren’t many actors out there that would entice me to tune into grey’s anatomy.
Crap, I hate Grey’s Anatomy, but now I’m going to have to watch this. I figured I could skip it when it was just Mandy Moore, but Mandy AND Ryan Devlin? Maybe I’ll just wait for it to be online, so I can skip over the scenes they’re not in…
This guy was barely on VM and has done lots of other stuff since, but of course Ausiello mentions VM in the title because he knows all the crazed VM fans will race to click on the story. I’m really not sure which party is more annoying in this case.
Ausiello has a short list of shows he’s obsessed with, and always refers to roles actors played on them, no matter how small, over more important credits that people are more likely to have seen. I’ve seen him refer to single-episode roles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer for actors who had starring roles on entire series. He’s more of a niche TV gossip columnist than a serious TV journalist.
He’s hot and talented, a killer combination. I haven’t watched Grey’s since the first season, but I’ll have to tune in for this. Maybe they can call him McCutie:) And the Shatner show sounds freaking hilarious.
Dude is hot!!! I hope to see more of him on the small and big screen.

Jason will be guest starring on Lie to Me soon. If you ask me, CW passing on Body Politic was one of the worst choices made. It was slightly cheesy but it had a diverse cast and potential to have great storylines.
As soon as I saw this guy on Cougar Town, I immediately realized he looks and sounds just like “Dell” (Chris Lowell) from Private Practice. Has anyone noticed the resemblance???

I saw a guy on a rerun of Bones today who looks a lot more like Dell than this guy does. This guy kind of reminds me of a young Tim Matheson.
