Image Credit: Michael Caulfield/WireImage.comI’m hearing from multiple sources that Oscar winner Diane Keaton is circling the title role in HBO’s Tilda, a half-hour comedy series about a powerful and much-feared Hollywood blogger that is not based on powerful and much-feared Hollywood blogger Nikki Finke.
Writer/director Bill Condon (Kinsey, Dreamgirls) and Tell Me You Love Me creator Cynthia Mort are shepherding the project.

LOVE Diane…. but don’t know who Nikki Finke is. Guess that’s what google is for.
I’d be there in a hot second. I love Diane!!!!
Love Dian and love Nikki!
HBO is the best!
Bill Condon also won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for Gods and Monsters.
GREAT!!! I just love Diane Keaton She is the BEST!!!
Diane Keaton is one of our most underrated screen comedians, in my opinion. I’ve never been a fan of her as a dramatic actress, but she is usually brilliant at comedy, so I have high hopes for this series.
I always thought she was the perfect match for Woody Allen. His movies with her were among his best, and they had amazing chemistry. Perhaps the fact that they are both crazy has something to do with it.
Yeah, I’ll watch anything with Diane Keaton in it, and it doesn’t have to be Annie Hall, either. Whether it’s light-hearted “Parenthood” or “First Wives Club,” I’m essentially doomed in my ability to escape her. I think it was “Manhattan Murder Mystery” that did it for me… I highly recommend it. Really good Woody Allen, and Diane is particularly good, understated, and dismissively funny in it.
If she wants to start her own blog to research for this role she should check out Thoughts.com
tilda = toldja? I think it is based on finke.
Don’t know or care about other Hollywood bloggers but this is the first thing I’ve heard about for possible Diane Keaton projects that sounds really interesting and so like her! Why there are not more good things for this lady to do, amazes me. Come on you screenwriters- what are you doing?
Is Dianne going to gain 200 pounds for the role?
