      I know. I’m very sad. I about cried when I saw this. I am still in shock. I was not expecting this at all. Chris Lowell was so wonderful on the show. He was the last person I expected this to happen to. Now who is going to take care of Betsy? I can’t believe this.

    Ok, so at this point we all know it’s Dell who kicked it tonight, however, a few things that ya’ll need to know.

    1. Naomi was never an option as Audra McDonald is NOT an original cast member. While the character of Naomi is original, Audra was the 2nd choice for the role. Naomi was originally played by Merrin Dungey from Alias. She didn’t come off well with the audience and was recast with Audra McDonald.

    2. Charlotte is also not an original cast member. That character was added AFTER the pilot aired. Both were never a real option for the big death.

      Not true Kimberly, “original” refers to the first episode of Private Practice, which had both actors, not to the backdoor pilot which was technically an episode of Grey’s. So sad about Dell, but glad it was him bc I’d hate to loose anyone else in the cast.

    People…I don’t even watch the show anymore…but even I know that Dell already died. He died at the end of LAST season. Just sayin’…
