Everyone wants a piece of Sarah Chalke.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that the in-demand Scrubs vet — who already scored a starring role in the ABC sitcom pilot Freshman — has booked a second pilot, the high school-set CBS comedy Team Spitz.
Chalke, who is technically billed as a guest star since the project is in second position to Freshman, will play a guidance counselor. The cast also includes Daily Show alum Rob Riggle as football coach.
Does that mean she doesn’t think her first one is very good? Or has much of a chance?
No its because most pilots don’t get picked up.
I love Sarah. Having said that, however, I happen to know there are plenty of actresses in town that need work, too.
And if one of the pilots gets picked up then the other spot will be open for someone else. It’s not like she will keep both. Most pilots don’t get picked up anyway. She is just playing it safe like EVERY OTHER actor in hollywood.

Well her first pilot sounded pretty awful, so this was probably a good move.

sarah chalke and sarah lancaster should co-star in a show… um, don’t have a premise yet, just that they are both talented & beautiful sarahs who need more airtime…
