Think they should pick some who is pretty and smart. Have it be a cousin of Penny. make it really funny be a child of patick stewart or someone like that.
Not to sound like a complete loser that I know this…but WHAT? The counselor on “The Secret Life”? REALLY?! I can’t see any romance. I mean…IT’S SHELDON. Btw, this season has gone dowwwwn hill, I hope they don’t completely bomb it!
This show rocks!! I watch it everday after work, keeps me entertained. I love Sheldon’s character, makes me wonder if he is like that in person. he is so straightforward and funny and smart. I believe a love interest is good for him, he needs to loosen up a bit, like really!, Still love him though and evryone else on the show!!!!!!!!!
I think I’d totally be on board for a Sheldon romance. I know some aren’t and think it would ruin the premise of Sheldon (my best friend included), but I think it could be funny and would like to see it played out, and if they were to play it out, I’d want that character to be recurring. I think Maiym Bialik is potentially a good choice too, though I don’t know how it will play out on the show, she’s certainly one of the more intelligent people in real life.
Look, I know there some out there that are against the probability of Sheldon dating someone. And while I do agree it does seem out of character that his character would do something like this but I think that is what makes it so interesting. The fact that he is so inexperienced with the matter just makes it that much more funnier and entertaining to watch. Besides, characters needs time to develop and grow and this has been a long time coming with Sheldon. And I for one hope that Mayim Bialik is around for next season because I am interested to see where this new found courtship is heading!
Sheldon’s romantic life would be awesome as long as he stays the way he is. But not with Mayim. I think she’s ugly and this pairing is atrocious.
Mayim being a real geek doesn’t have anything to do with this.
If they really want to create a love-hate relationship, have Sheldon find that he’s attracted to her, but then discover that she’s smarter than he is. That would drive him insane, lol.
The writers on TBBT are doing just fine. Hopefully they never read comments on the internet, because about 98% of the “ideas” being posted here would tank a brilliant show. Once example… casting an attractive hottie as the female geek that would be Sheldon’s potential love interest. “Blossom” does nothing short of an inspired job with this role.
