HBC announced that it has ordered a second season of the half-hour comedy How to Make it in America. Like last season, the pay cabler ordered eight episodes of the New York-based show. It should return to the schedule sometime during the summer of 2011.
The comedy starring Bryan Greenberg and Victor Rasuk follows two dream-chasing, twenty-somethings who live and work in the Big Apple. It was created by Ian Edelman and also stars Eddie Kaye Thomas, Martha Plimpton and Jason Pendergraft.

SUMMER of 2011…Wow got to wait that long
WOOHOO, love this show. It got infinitely better as the season wore on.
This was a COMEDY? News to me. Not funny at all.
I don’t think I would really classify it as a comedy. It was great but not a great comedy…
I tried. I really, really tried to like this show, but I don’t see its point. I don’t the need for a second season. I have a better idea HBO: Give Luis Guzman his own show!!!! He, like Jeremy Piven on Entourage, is the only bright spot on an otherwise dreck of a show.
Ugh, this was the second worst show ever on HBO after that Robert Wuhl sports crap.
you are moron.
Wow, I cannot wait to watch this show. The second season is going to be so good!
ummm more Bryan Greenberg yummy
It’s not the best show, but it was fun at times. I could watch more.
WHAT!!!! finally, but summmer 2011? i can’t wait that long come on hurry this show up… by the time i’ll completely forgot about it… but it truly shows how america is made off..
this show is so tight!!!I love it, only three series of shows id ever watch, niptuck, Entourage and definitly this one. I love HBO, but 2011? wow, dat sucks
Awesome show.. can’t wait for a second season.. They did a real good job of depicting the hustle in NY, if you don’t like it- it’s probably because you never really hustled a god damn thing in ya life.
This show is supreme – really happy to hear it is coming back for another season. But it’s not a comedy, it’s a drama.
Wow I really enjoyed this show and agree it progressively got better as the season went on but Summer 2011?! I was just thinking about it today because it’s been off-air for a while but knowing I have to wait another (possible) 8 months for another mere 8 episodes is -_-
Yea the wait is way to long. What they should do is make it an hour show instead of a half hour show.
Great show and Great Song
