Image Credit: HBOYeah, yeah, waiting sucks. That much we know. But the slow march toward True Blood‘s June 13 return is made slightly easier thanks to HBO’s cheeky 12-part teaser poster campaign. Here’s an exclusive first look at the fifth poster in the series, a clever takeoff on the ’80s milk carton craze. While light on spoilers, the image does contain a few intriguing nuggets. Okay, it contains one intriguing nugget: Bill weighs 165 pounds! Who knew?!

As if blood isn’t already gross?
*yawn*
Thanks for sharing. *eyeroll*
I think I know what the C in CindyC stands for!
Well I know where he is but I can’t tell anyone. Don’t want any supes mad at me. But, I think I will buy a bottle of True Blood just to have a pic of Bill. Don’t worry Bill, Sookie will come to rescue you!
I wonder if they’re gonna keep to the books on Bill’s disappearance. The Sookie/Bill relationship is pretty popular with True Blood fans, but in the books it gets really rocky from here on out. I hope they stick to the book, because I’ve never been a fan of them two. I’m definitely on Team Eric!
They seem to have already started breaking from the books. After all, the interaction between Bill and in season 2 of True Blood, before the explosion and after Eric’s tv version “maker” expelled . Thus the whole premise of book three has been dismissed with. So the betrayal won’t happen, sookie won’t get pissed about the betrayal. So I’m interested in where Alan Ball goes with it.
The Sookie/Bill relationship is pretty popular with SOME True Blood fans, lol! I’ve only read the first book but seen all of the TV episodes and I’m definitely on TEAM ERIC!!!
From what I’ve heard happens in the books, it seems like it’ll deviate from them. I think AB said somewhere that Sookie and Bill will always be the main relationship, which makes sense since TV shows work differently from book series.
Can’t he stay missing…please?
LOL! Yes, for at least 4 episodes. Let Eric have his screen time.
Oh yes, PLEASE! Eric needs way more screen time. Go Team Eric.
Naked Screen Time
Who ever has him can keep him. The less I have to see of him the better.
I agree!
Agreed. Who needs Bill when there’s Eric?
LOL!!!!! So true! I’m not drinking AB’s Bill Kool-aid!!!
i thought that since vampires cannot see their image in mirrors, they likewise cannot be photographed.
Not in the TB Universe: Season 1 established they can be photographed and see their reflections.
I cant even wait for the new season to begin!!
I wonder how much HBO is paying for all the pimping this site is doing for True Blood…
It’s a magazine/website about tv and movies. What do you expect? Pulitzer Prize winning journalism?
You see Graham, there’s this thing called “capitalism”. You can look it up in the dictionary, but it’s a concept embraced by Republicans, Democrats, Independents and virtually everyone who has made the free choice to live in the United States.
For an example of this concept….well, you found it. Welcome to the real world.
Not nearly as much as Summit is paying them to shill for Twilight, Fox is paying them to plug Glee and ABC is paying them to write about Lost.
sure Graham, and they are running banner ads as a public service, free of charge.
We have already seen Bill in a mirror, Season 1..I miss Bill, and Eric?? eh…I am waiting for Alcide.
I hope Bill stays missing for a long time.
*Possible spoilers?* It really bothers me that Bill proposed. In the book Sookie talks many times about how vampire-human marriages weren’t allowed and she always adds “though it’s not like he’s asked…” and that happens several times. So him proposing really bothered me. Not to mention they already showed he can resist Lorena so how will the kidnapping story work? Ehh..
* May contain spoilers* Well they recently had an HBO special where they talked with Alan Ball and he said that they’re loosely following the books, and disregarding them where necessary hence sparing Lafayette (fan favorite) creating Jessica having Bill kill Long Shadow versus Eric etc etc etc. There’s no logical way to play out this kidnapping according to the book.
I think people get their distaste for Book Bill with TV Bill. I love TV Bill… but hate Book Bill. I love Book Eric… I couldnt care less for TV Eric. I care about book Alice and will care for my tv Alcide too regardless of what happens. lol
*their for Book Bill confused with TV Bill.
I agree! Though I wasn’t a huge fan of book Alcide.
Not everyone that doesn’t like tv Bill dislikes him because of book Bill. I haven’t read the books so the only Bill I know is the one from True Blood and I definitely don’t like him.
Who the eff cares about Bill? Where’s Eric? That is all I care about.
It IS possible to enjoy this show for what it is…a tv show which doesn’t have to follow the book. Since when is it mandatory that every show/movie exactly follow a book? If that’s the case, there a A LOT of things that need to be re-filmed. I, for one, LOVE this show…and I can’t wait to see where Alan Ball takes this show! Six Feet Under was my FAVORITE show, and I think he’s doing another fantastic job. Go Alan!!!
Peggy, I agree, as long as the on screen version adds something positive to the mix, which unfortunately cannot be said for that other vamp series that I shall not speak of that is on the big screen.
Diane: We know who was behind his
being “Vampnapped”~and it was out
of jealousy!!Two women got together
and Vampnapped him~Who did it?
Lorena & Debbie Pelt!!!!
