I agree w/ one of the viewers, who said they hope Ryan gets his comeuppence, along w/ Dennis York. Maybe we’ll finally find out what “Narrow Lake” is really all about. So glad Gilles is staying, and couldn’t stand Ryan at all. Good news all around!

Love Luc so this is great news! I never liked Ryan…the character always felt so forced so good news on this end too!

Who noticed Ryan was gone? Poor boy was a waste of energy with a bad actor for a crap story line. (though he should at least pop up as a material witness in a suit against that guy who’s trying to steal OJAI- take out any good wine vintages lately?) Rebecca stuck with great results but Ryan never got on with anyone for more then one ep and just appeared needy and pitiful. I love Luc, glad Sarah FINALLY picks a good one who is going to stick (Luc one ups the ex husband who remarried his first wife :)

    Luc-yes
    Ryan-no
I never liked Ryan. His character always seem off to me. I didn’t care for the actor who played him either. Happy he’s gone. As for Luc, why not, it’ll be a fun new addition.

I stopped watching it when Ryan first came in. Maybe I’ll start watching again.

  • Jane

Gilles is why I started watching and why I will watch it next season!! Great news!!!

  • Jil

Gilles seems like a such kind, sweet man and a funny, subtle actor. Couldn’t be more pleased to see him every Sunday night on B&S. Whatta way to end the week!

I love Luc….I will watch as long as he is on the show….

I think it is funny how everyone is down on Ryan – he played his part well, he didn’t write his story line and everyone is “dogging” him for his lousy story line that he had NOTHING to do with…Hello People give the guy some credit!

  • kayla

That’s too bad about Ryan. I though the Ojai storyline was stupid, but I really liked the actor.

  • karin

    Marini can’t act…period
and rachel griffiths is the best of the show…
    big mistake

The expression ‘citizen of the United States’ occurs in the clauses prescribing qualifications for Representatives, for Senators, and for President. In the latter the term ‘natural born citizen’ is used, and EXCLUDES all persons owing allegiance by birth to foreign states; in the other cases the word ‘citizen’ is used without the adjective & excludes persons owing allegiance to foreign states, unless naturalized under our laws.

The writers failed in writing Gilles an actual character to play. All he plays is the stereotypical French lothario. No amount of writing in future will render him any more interesting. They screwed the pooch with this one. Plus I’m surely not the only one who’s sick and tired of this guy’s fake French accent. I know he’s actually French but he never spoke with an accent this thick on Dancing With The Stars.

Luke Grimes leaving is no big deal as he was given next to nothing to do this past season. Certainly nothing worthy of his name being on the opening credits which was just bizarre.

Acting is a tough job, have no doubt! I, too, love Luc; you only have to look into those beautiful eyes to know there is a beautiful soul in there. I feel bad for Ryan–not every role is the right one, no fault of the actor. Rock on, Ryan!
