    I had hoped that this would be a cheesy fun slash fest like Harper’s Island, but the first episode wasn’t very good. I might give it one more week but something tells me it would a waste of an hour.

    Typical. A quality show with a great cast, a well-written script, and great direction gets low ratings. This just proves how unstable and lacking in patience American audiences are. If someone isn’t making some stupid joke or singing in front of judges no one likes it. Lame. Happy Town was enjoyable, I thought, a great cast, and I am actually looking forward to more.

    Let’s give “Happy Town” a chance. Ratings could go up. Last week it was up against “Hamlet” starring Dr. Who and Captain Picard.

    I like Sam Neill and Amy Acker, but this show was clogged with too many D-list soap actors and TV movie actors. They should have spent the money of better writing and better actors to support the few good stars in the production.

    I dig the show. I hope they don’t cancel it. It has a weird Stephen King/Twin Peaks vibe to it. And while some of the writing and acting was suspect, it’s at least nice to have some horror on TV. I want the show to succeed. I need some post Lost viewing material.

    I think this show has a lot of potential! I just hope it doesn’t get pulled of, I’m starting to get hooked.
