Hey GG… the gist is, Crowley (intentionally) let it slip that Bobby made a deal to “lend” his soul to Crowley. The boys are annoyed with this, of course, but the real question is, “Did you KISS him?” Bobby (indignant): “No!” Then Crowley shows them the iPhone pic of him & Bobby kissing. Bobby: “Why’d you have to take a picture?” Crowley: “Why’d you have to use tongue?” So… hilarity! But also, I’m not sure Bobby’s really a goner. Probably, but not definitely.

Crowley is obviously a fallen angel like Satan himself. I say this because Bobby shot with salt and nothing, plus he has Cas’s ability to pop around that other normal demons dont have. His reason for wanting Satan gone is that after killing all humans Satan would probably turn on his fellow fallen angels. The story line is very very loosely based on Bible which if you read when Lucifer was thrown out of Heaven he 1/3 of all angels chose to go with him. So that’s my opinion of Crowley’s story.
You may be right, but rock salt doesn’t do to demons what it does to spirits. Also, Ruby and Lilith were able to ‘pop around’ and they were normal demons as well.

At first I thought Crowley-as-fallen-angel was plausible for the reasons you listed, but there’s one problem: the Enochian symbols that warded off Castiel would have prevented Crowley from entering his own mansion. It’s likely, given his position as wish-broker, that he’s simply extraordinarily powerful for a demon.
Also, he can move in time – he wiped out a nest of demons then returned to almost immediately after he’d left – I wonder…
I’d attribute that to being able to “teleport” like Meg and Ruby and Lilith. It doesn’t take nearly as long to kill demons when you’re not driving back and forth.
I also think Crowley is one of the Fallen because his character is based (most likely… kind of obviously, to be honest) off of Anthony J Crowley (An angel who did not so much as fall as saunter vaguely downwards) who is a demon in Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Also, read it, because it is my moral obligation to tell you to do so.

As usual no matter how dramatic the situation there is always something funny, that is one of the things I love most about this show. Interesting the one that asked about the kiss was Sam and not Dean, and Castiel is back! Can’t wait.

I think Sam asked him that because without the kiss, the deal may not be valid. I think he was just trying to confirm if the deal was ironclad or not.
