Then there was a jump BACK when a whole season of “Dallas” was wiped away as having been a dream. Bob Newhart used this method to deny all the seasons of his second series.
And Roseanne, too, had a sort of time jump, alternate reality thing in its series finale (which sounds bad the way I’ve written it, but really, it was brilliant; watch it!).
Of the shows currently on the air, OTH is the first one to do a jump. It did it before DH. Yet whenever a jump is mentioned for a show they bring up DH and not OTH. That’s probably why it frustrates some when OTH is never mentioned.
It’s so obvious that Justin’s going to end up being a paramedic or EMT.
I don’t like the idea of a jump. IT means we’ll miss out on the birth of Kevin & Scotty’s baby. Those two are the only reason I still watch the show.
Rob is gone, Kitty and Tommy have minor roles. I’m tired of Justin’s military woes-will he go back or won’t he-been there, done that. I’m trying to find a way to keep watching but it’s starting to look like a boring show…
If they’re going to do it, this is what I’d like to see…
1.) Kill off Robert, since that’s the only thing I think would separate him from Kitty. They’ve been through too much to divorce now.
2.) Bring back Tommy full time, and commit to making him a likable character. Bringing him back for the boring Ojai fiasco has at least reminded me what I liked about him before. He’s great with Justin and Kevin.
3.) Keep the other core couples: Kevin/Scotty and Justin/Rebecca. We’ve invested in several, and if they’re the last ones standing, remind us why we cared about them instead of pushing love for Sarah/Luc.
Overall, I think Giles is decent but overrated, and doesn’t really bring the energy into the show that the writers think he does. I’d love to see Justin go in a new direction professionally, and Kevin/Scotty living with an infant.
I am not a fan of the time jump especially if it takes away from how Kitty deals with becoming a single parent, dealing with her crazy family, and dating. I predict that she will not win the election. I kind of hope that she ends up with Alec assuming that Robert actually dies in the finale this season. This show seems to be losing its creative edge its the same storylines over and over just with different characters.
The KEVRAH storyline of this past episode was one of the best this season, they need to do more light sibling fun storylines like that one. KEVRAh LIVES!!!
I’m not sure how much difference 1 yr will make, except for Kitty & Robert. I thought it might be 5 yrs or so & the grandkids would be teens. Rob Lowe alwants to be “the Star,” that’s why he leaves all the series he is on. Hope Parks & Recreation make him “a Star.”
The whole Justin/Rebecca storyline is getting old quick. They suddenly elope and now on the verge of it going to hell? Seriously, it’s ridiculous.
I also can’t believe they invested so much time in Justin in medical school and now all of a sudden he wants to go back to Iraq. Enough with that, for the love of God.
but he flunked out, remember? at least with the year jump-ahead, their year apart will be over, and they can move on, or not
I had heard Lowe was leaving a while back so no surprise there…..I am more curious as to what is going to happen to Holly (being unresponsive after the accident) and Sol (with the HIV/AIDS thing)
Brothers and Sisters is amazing! It is the best US drams, with the exception of ER. I am so happy to hear it is having a 5th series and I like the idea of the year jump. I was disappointed Robert died at the end of the 4th series but things must go on! People who leave negative comments, if you don’t like it, STOP WATCHING IT! Its that simple! Keep it going, I cant wait for season 5 to begin.
Sorry, probably won’t watch the show now that Rob Lowe’s gone. Did the same thing with West Wing. Anybody know why he just doesn’t seem to last on shows?
That would depend on what stage the plant is at. Is it a full grown plant? Or is it just a deisleng? I only use grow lights for starting my transplants so I have them only a few inches above. As they get bigger you can raise the light (I suggest rigging up some kind of pulley system so you can simply raise the light as needed). Again it all varies depending on the stage the plant is at and the variety of plant it is. I hope this helps.
Omgosh!! I absolutely love these cats! I have a oritte myself, I love them! And Orlando has such beautiful eyes! Both are so adorable. Love the shots you took! Great job!
