It looked so awesome because it was shot on Canon 5D Mark II…
Can’t wait to see it in HD, especially if it was shot with a 5D Mark II!
I just don’t think that clip can do the low-light performance the 5D offers justice. And you can see some of the shots shift slightly out of focus and you can tell it is a different type of hand held.
But you can see the mobility as they move around the hospital set that I’ve never seen in House. That was just… odd… and pretty awesome

She’s at the hospital, ready to go to the scene of the accident, even if she had one, she could have take it off while being at the hospital.
But I hope she won’t wear engagement ring in the future ! 
True Isa, but it just seemed like the scene was emphasizing the fact that she didn’t have one on by focusing on her left hand while it was resting on the book, and then the way the avoided House’s question. Could be just wishful thinking though.:)
she says “how did you know?” as if she was surprised house knew. perhaps she was trying to keep it from him by not wearing the ring. or, the accident thing. i dunno.
When people get engagement rings they put it on the opposite hand of the dominant hand. I think Cuddy is left handed so, she would put the ring on the right hand. I think the shot of her hand on the book either means nothing or that she really likes the gift.
The first huddy scene was good. Cuddy is hidding something, I´m sure. And House helping her to get dressed it´s just sweet.

holy shiz. this season finale’s bound to be epic. although no quite sure about the first few secs. what happened to house? it seems to me like he’s been robbed in his own home or something?
what I don’t get if these are the 1st two minutes that how are we supposed to know that Cuddy and Lucas are engaged? maybe I misunderstood something..
I guess we know because House says it? Or maybe we’ll find out in the previous (next) episode.
Given how all of the producers and writers are MAJOR Huddy shippers and have basically said that it MUST happen (sigh), I think if they really did get engaged, this might be a bad sign for Lucas’s life expectancy.
I guess, we’ll learn about it in the next – 20th episode, this preview is for the finale 21 episode
he looks bloody and tense. he was making a fist and there was a hole in the wall. the mirror was also shattered. the paint on the walls is the same color as his bathroom. my guess is that it is affecting him more than he expected. i think he got drunk slammed his head against the mirror and get punching the wall until he made a hole through it.
I saw the exact same thing! but I think this means house has fallen off the bandwagon; because we see pills, and because he makes a fist which he opens like there’s Vicodin in it.
WORST PART: I used to be such a HUGEEEEE Huddy; but these past few weeks it’s been like they’re trying to make Cuddy look worse so all us Huddies will leave them alone and hate her. I’m not even sure how I feel about the whole Huddy thing right now. I just know I don’t like Luddy. AT ALL.
I totally agree with you, onyx. I hate how the writers “play” with Cuddy in the last episode. They had hurt House so bad that I kind of hate the Huddy idea as much as the Luddy one. Anyway. Fingers crossed on Huddy and please just stop Luddy for God sake.
Just can’t wait to watch this episode, even though it means another 3 months wait for the next season. :-p
If you watch closely in the first shot of the hole there are two bottles in it. Then in the following shot of the hole the bottles are missing. I think that is House’s secret, secret, secret stash of vicodin.
Im thinkin he broke the mirror after getting drunk. the hole looked to small to be a punch. bullet hole maybe?
I’m assuming that he looks all beat up cause he got banged up while helping at the accident site. But most importantly did you notice that his hand was closed. What do you suppose was in that hand?

I think this episode looks interesting. The past few seasons of House have really made me lose interest in the show (and yet, I continue to watch, go figure), but I have always loved this show’s season finales. They’re always very well written and they seem to hit you in just the right places emotionally and psychologically. Whatever the plot of this episode ends up being, I think it’s a safe bet that it will be a good episode. The first two minutes alone are enough to make me see that something huge and serious is going on, even just beyond the train wreck. You can just tell there is a larger situation at play. I’m excited!
This season has been one of THE best seasons of this show! If Hugh doesn’t finally get an Emmy for his portrayal of House, then something is wrong. His acting in the season’s first episode alone should be his golden ticket. I love the way they have expanded on his character, too. He is only human and is now facing a lot of demons and dealin with all of it, including his feelings for Huddy.
I HATE the Luddy relationship. Lucas is so not for her!

There will be more seasons. :] The people who make the show confirmed it. I don’t know how many more seasons, though.
I don’t think he thinks they’re just moving together, because he said the fact they “cohabitate” gave some kind of spoiler. I think he knows about the engagement thing, because it was kind of the next logical step to take.

Whoa. What is with the ver beginning? Did House tear his place up? Smash his mirror? I really liked the Huddy scene. They have such great chemistry. That was a thoughtful gift from House. I liked that he signed it “Greg.” Dump Lucas, Cuddy! He isn’t right for you.
It is obvious House has a handfull of his Vicodin and is contemplating taking them. THAT is how the season will end – will he or won’t he?
I know in tonights episode House finds out that Alfy has been crashing at his Apt. while he was at Wilson’s. So who knows what condition the apartment will be in. Maybe it was already like that.
And this is different from the bus crash with Amber how? One more catastropic finale to tide the fans over until next year.
Reminiscent of Season 4 finale. I think the beginning scene is House got hurt so we have to figure he entered the bldg that exploded and we know he is there helping Cuddy. LE said her favorite Huddy moment is in this episode.
Okay, so major parallels between this and “House’s Head/Wilson’s Heart”.
My God why cant House and Cuddy get together? I think the beginning scenes are House fighting his addiction to da pills!! Dont take ‘em! Cant Wait!

I want House and Cuddy have an oportunity. House deserves a little happiness with the woman he loves and I don´t think Cuddy is in love with Lucas so she will never be happy. They belong together.
I can’t believe that anyone actually believes that House and Cuddy would end up a happy couple! He’s too unhappy to make anyone else happy.
