How about we get a full fourth season, but officially make it the last season? That way the show can end well, but we won’t have to suffer through the agony of wondering whether or not it’ll get picked up every year after this?
I’m w/ you Meg… I used to love watching Chuck (now it is a simmered like and I’m three episodes behind). He is now a full spy and he has his girl, so let it end properly.
I would want it to go to at least 50 episodes so it stood a chance at syndication.
I think it’d be more like 100 eps for a decent shot at syndication, but even then it’d be unlikely cause it’s not a sitcom or a procedural so the common thinking is that it wouldn’t repeat well.

Awesome news!!!! Come on NBC do the right thing. If Chuck is pulled there will only be 2 shows I watch on NBC – Parenthood and Law And Order SVU. I remember when I almost exclusively watched NBC. Chuck is the best show they have on now! PLEASE renew Chuck!!!!
NBC make it happen, and I promise to start watching Parenthood and other NBC shows that are slightly less good then Chuck!
Chuck is one of my absolute favorite shows, and I really hope it gets picked up for another season……..

Let’s not count chickens. Remember that the upfront prep doesn’t mean that it’s a done deal. The WB/CW was all prepared to announce its Aquaman series, to the point of having web pages posted on its site for the show, and then did not go with it. Hope the sources are good and correct, though, absolutely.
please let it be a full season pick up because the witters have already proven that they can’t cram all their stories in just 13 episode. If they only get 13, Mark the return of THE SHAW
This is fantastic news. But enought with this 13 episode crap. Dammit…give us full 22!!
This surprises me, because NBC usually throws away shows with a small but loyal fan base.
