NBC announced today that it has picked up its fifth series for the 2010-11 season – a drama called Chase from executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI). The series that will star Kelli Giddish (Past Life), Cole Hauser (K-Ville), Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break), and Jesse Metcalfe (Desperate Housewives) is about a team of U.S. marshals who hunt down America’s most dangerous fugitives. “Chase has all the undeniable elements of a thrill ride that you would expect from a Jerry Bruckheimer action series,” said Angela Bromstad, President, Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios, in a statement. “Equally important, it also features a great cast. Kelli Giddish is a breakout star as the lead.”
NBC already announced that it has picked up Undercovers, The Event, Love Bites, and Outsourced for fall. More pickups are expected in anticipation of NBC’s fall presentation to advertisers on May 17 in New York.
Chase was written by Jennifer Johnson (Cold Case).

i don’t think i’ve enjoyed anything by bruckheimer for years. won’t be watching this, either. his work gets less and less intelligent with the years
Yawn…how many crime procedurals are there on tv already? Total lack of originality, I don’t care if its the U.S. Marshalls vs. the NYPD or the LAPD…its all the same!
NBC is always the last ones to the party…
Well, I am really happy with NBC choices. I am planning in watching all those shows.
what do people want, another reality show, yuck. Give me crime any time.
Sorry NBC-I will stick with In Plan Sight and Justified.
I also enjoy In Plain Sight but this new television Chase for the 2010/2011 television season actually sounds really interesting… and if I had to be honest In Plain Sight’s story lines each week has been slacking (in my opinion) sense last season lets hope that they will become more interesting as the season continues…
Anyway I’m looking forward to the following three NBC shows: Chase, Undercovers, and Outsourced
Absolutely!!!
us marshalls seem to be the flaver of cop as of late…
Jesse Metcalfe, yuck!
Cole Hauser can’t act his way out of a paper bag and his has face has all the expression of a piece of wood.
It’s about time that NBC starts showing actual TV programs instead of this reality JUNK!!!!!
Keep up the good work.
Please, NBC, give us David Tennant. He could read the phone book with his lovely Scottish accent and viewers would come. So let’s give Rex Is Not Your Lawyer a shot. (And please, make him an expat so we can enjoy his voice!)
As long as it doesn’t take a time-slot away from Chuck.
Jesse Metcalfe finally found a job. Wonder if it will be a hit, though
love everything that j bruckheimer, the stories keep you guessing, reality shows are not interesting to me too many of those shows…..
I always give anything by Bruckheimer (except Amazing Race, but I’m not into reality shows, so that’s not his fault) a fighting chance. I’m already satisfied with In Plain Sight, but I’ll give this one a try.
